"On 10.23.23 I hired Shamrock Chimney, address, 3 Mountain St. E, Worcester, MA, 01606, telephone: 508.433.0609, to clean my chimney; upon inspection of the chimney, I was told that the cement crown was damaged and needed replacement, as well as resetting loose bricks at the top of the chimney. The total cost for this work was $1,500.00. This work came with a Lifetime warranty on the 2 steel rain caps, and a 5-year warranty on the masonry. On Feb. 10, 2024, I called Shamrock Chimney and told them that the caps were moving out of place on top of the chimney, tilting as they might be ready to fall off. I told Shamrock's representative that I was fearful that the caps could fall down damaging my roof and cars, or injuring someone walking into my house on the walkway below. Shamrock told me that someone would be out to ensure that the caps were properly secured - however no one from Shamrock came out. After nearly 2 months with no response from Shamrock, on April 4, 2024, I called Shamrock"

He said in the contract that the work was to be completed by the end of May. Needless to say, he never did the work despite numerous promises to do it I confronted him in October and demanded my deposit back. He stated that he had to fire a bunch of people and had experienced some personal problems. He said that he would refund my deposit. When the deadline passed, I notified him that I intended to file a complaint with the Attorney General Office. He did not bother to respond. I filed the complaint. I hired Rich because of his favorable rating on Angie. I cannot conceive as to how it is possible that he attained that rating. Check out the other site and see what you think. I strongly recommend that you seek a different contractor."
