Sam The Furniture Finisher has been serving northern New Jersey since 2006! I bring more than 30 years of experience to your project, and offer convenient in-home repairs! I focus on touching up, repairing and refinishing furniture. Sorry, I do not repair upholstery or complete large refinishing projects(complete dining rooms and bedrooms) But I can restore them back to original condition. I also refinish older front doors and restore wood kitchen cabinets. I also re-glue chairs and restore antiques (my specialty!} I do not weld wrought iron or restore leather. I DO repair sofa and recliner frames.

I scheduled an appointment for repair of a custom handpainted table plus repairs to my kitchen cabinets. Same came to my house right on time and beautifully repaired everything to my 100% satisfaction. The cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Same to anyone needing furniture repair. I had ordered the wrong height stools (bar stools instead of counter height--my mistake). Since they were assembled, they could not be returned. I was able to have Sam cut them down to the proper height!! The stools look fantastic. You would never know that they were cut down. He also tightened all of the hardware in the chair. He picked them up, fixed them, and dropped them off within a day!!! Would definitely recommend Sam!!!

Sam was very responsive when I first contacted him regarding the damage to my dining room table. I sent him pictures of the damage and he felt that he would be able to repair it. I was a little concerned because other restoration companies did not think it could be repaired. Sam came on schedule and was able to repair the table. If you look hard enough you can see were it was repaired but I am very pleased with the outcome. I wish I could show the before and after pictures. They would be the best part of the review. I can't wait to recommend Sam to my friends.

He refinished out kitchen table. Within a few months, the finish started to discolor and then started to peel. When I reached out to try contacting him, I got no response.
