Thank you for visiting Ace Handyman Services formerly HandyMan Matters (since 2010) now based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, servicing all of Rhode Island. Ace Handyman Services is locally owned and operated by Louis Paiva. Lou brings extensive experience in commercial and residential home improvements to help transform the handyman business one customer at a time. We are doing this by providing the upmost professional service and quality from the time you contact Ace Handyman Services to the point of completion of your project. Our company specializes in the small right up to larger remodel sized projects. With one call to us, you can fix or repair all your TO-DO-LIST. All of our craftsmen combined have over 30 years experience in residential and commercial applications. We have specialists in all fields including kitchen, bathroom and basement remodels as well as carpentry, interior and exterior painting, tile and flooring, electrical, plumbing, vinyl siding, custom crown molding, wainscoting just to name a few. You will be happy you called us, whether it's fixing the broken gate/fence or doing a complete custom kitchen with custom granite countertops. fixing the leaky faucet or partial/full remodeling of your bathroom. After performing demo workout, our previous contractor took our $$ and ran. Because of this, we were too spooked to hire another “con”tracor and decided to try a service with a good reputation and warranty. I can not recommend ACE more highly. Our “handyman" Juan was skilled and super knowledgable with the HUGE project he was thrown into. He was on time, efficient and just a joy to deal with! By himself, Juan cleaned up the prior demo area, properly sealed the shower, installed a new shower bench/curbs and repaired the wall…he did everything but the painting, which we took care of. What a worker! Thank you so much Juan and ACE Handyman Services. We will certainly be working with you again!

Handyman Matters is a very professional service. They are very responsive, showed up on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up after. I couldn't even tell they were there. 2 of the fans were difficult to install and Paul did it with grace. I was very impressed. I will definitely hire them again!

The work was assessed quickly, and Chris began work as soon as we finished looking at everything together. He had all the tools he needed and made a quick run to Home Depot for all of the parts/supplies he needed. We'd highly recommend hiring Handyman Matters!

I called Handyman Matters the day the incident happened and I explained the situation. Chris came out the next day, measured the space, and installed the gates in just a few hours! Now I can keep my dog outside without having to worry. I highly recommend this company for any household needs because of their timely, well-executed service. I will definitely be using them again!

Chris did an excellent job in installing cabinets, including making a few good suggestions. Also installed door to a storage area in closet. Work was done well and in professional manner. Would definitely hire again as other projects come up.

Great! Chris was on-time, tidy, quick and so helpful. I got so much done in one day! Plus, Chris found two live wires under my sink I didn't even know existed. Those wires could have caused a fire. We turned off the breaker to the wire and now that wire is safe. Chris even reinstalled some PVC pipe on the side of the house that I needed for proper water drainage. I will be contacting Handyman Matters in the future when I need additional work done. I could not be happier!
