Work area was kept clean and trash picked up on a regular basis. -Workers wore masks. -Workers were well prepared and knew the job prior to arriving, did not require much interaction on my part. At the same time, they were accommodating when I wanted to see how the job was progressing and answered questions when I had them. -Payment in several installments was appreciated, and definitely preferable to handing over large sums before any work is completed Thanks to Basic Basements I now have a new living space that my family can enjoy! "Frank and his crew (Brian and Gary) were absolutely fantastic. They took out a coat closet in our entryway and built a vestibule (installing tiles, wainscoting, doors, etc.), which turned out stunning. They also installed crown moulding, took out a closet and refinished the wall, took out carpet on stairs and in the office and replaced it with wood-flooring (or refinished the wood-flooring underneath), installed a dog door and two chandeliers, remodeled a fireplace (installing tiles around it and at the hearth + building a mantle). We were extremely happy with the result! Frank and his crew are professional, easy to communicate with, and meticulous. They moved our furniture around with great care and cleaned the house after the work was finished. We will definitely hire them again in the future!"

"Mitch was very communicative via email which was very helpful. The bill was itemized well so no hidden charges - very clear. He was very flexible throughout the project. The work was completed really well with great quality. We were a day behind (due to us not them) and Mitch could of pushed it to get it done that week but instead said 'i'd rather wait and come back and do it properly instead of rushing it through' - he did and it was worth it! Bob was his team mate and the two of them are very friendly and great workmanship! He even added on a couple of unrelated projects to the project for us and let us know costs. Also fixed a gas leak we didn't know we had! They were also very respectful of the property and took shoes off where they could and cleaned up very well after every day and cleaned up all rubbish from the back! I would high recommend them and I am almost annoyed we have no other projects for these guys!"
