This can be done by increasing friction/traction on flooring and walkway surfaces, decreasing tripping hazards, increasing lighting where needed and by many other means.

Unlike lumber in stick-built houses, concrete doesn’t rot, and it’s more resistant to wildfires and earthquake damage, so you’ll almost always get a longer lifespan from a concrete house than you would a traditionally framed one.

Pervious concrete can last from 20 to 40 years when properly mixed, poured, and maintained. Pervious concrete requires yearly maintenance to remove debris from the surface that can block the voids and interfere with effective drainage, but properly maintained pervious concrete can last as long as traditional concrete.
