"We suddenly lost the picture on our flat screen Smart TV. We worked with the manufacturer's help desk by phone but it was difficult to analyze the problem with no picture. The help desk informed us it was most likely either the main mother board (which would be expensive to repair and would be about the cost of a new TV) or the backlight/s went bad which would be a less expensive fix. They said they could schedule someone to come out or we could find someone ourselves. We chose to use Angi to help us find a reputable repair technician. We chose Wilwert Electronics. We called their shop and discussed the problem. We were given a ballpark price for the repair, and agreed to bring the TV to the shop for an analysis of the problem. Tony Wilwert called back a few days later and informed us the problem was with the backlights and provided a price for parts and labor which was a lot less than the price of a new TV. He said it would take a week to 10 days to complete the repair. About 2 weeks later, Tony called us and said the TV was ready to be picked up. All was working fine again. Tony and his staff were very personable and easy to work with. He informed us he repairs all forms of electronics. In his words, "if it has an electric cord on it, he will work on it". We will definitively use Wilwert Electronics in the future, if the need arises, and would certainly recommend him to our family and friends."

"James responded to my request for assistance in optimizing our home Wi-Fi. He was planning to be in our area for another customer, so he offered to visit to assess the issue and, if possible, offer solutions. He arrived on time, identified the issues (some of which were not on my radar) and 90 minutes after arriving, our internet service, which has been poor for several years, was improved by a factor of more than 10. The solution wasn't free and required some hardware upgrades to 10-year-old equipment. Looking at the solution, it is one of those things that you can say, "I should have known that." But I don't live in the technology world and James does. He solved our problems and cleaned up a rat's nest of wiring while doing so. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! His business card states "Professionalism, Experience, Integrity" and James exhibited all three characteristics during his visit. Highly recommend Beck's Techs."
