"The install of the new a/c was replacing what was originally there. Wanted a a/c with a heat pump so that I could use that for heating. They also installed a nest thermostat to work with it. The removal of the old system & the new installation was done like it was for their own home. Worked long hours till the job was completely done. The owner & his two workers were extremely friendly"

"Estimator came out quickly, was very personable, and could schedule my install appointment a few weeks later right then and there. When the tech came out he was polite, efficient, and very quick.  Overall I was very happy with the service and would recommend them to others if the price is competitive with another company.

"Absolutely stunning transformation! 5 stars and more for Aguitektura! As a realtor, I see a lot of kitchens, but the renovation that Aguitektura just completed on my own home takes the golden trophy! The entire process was a dream, from the initial consultation to the final finishing touches. Floor plan magic: The pre-renovation layout was clunky and inefficient. Enter the design genius of Aguitektura! They listened to my needs and translated them into a seamless, functional masterpiece. Walls moved, space opened up, and suddenly my kitchen was not just a place to cook but a place to truly live. The flow is incredible, and every square inch is now used to its full potential. Quality that shines: The craftsmanship and attention to detail are absolutely top-notch. No shoddy work here! From the custom cabinetry to the high-end appliances, everything is beautifully installed and built to last. They even managed to incorporate some of my existing pieces seamlessly, saving me money and preserving a touch of sentimentality. Stress-free zone: Let's face it, renovations can be stressful. But not with Aguitektura! They kept me informed every step of the way, were flexible with my schedule, and always responsive to any questions or concerns. Their professionalism and clear communication made the whole experience surprisingly enjoyable. A realtor's rave: As a realtor, I can confidently say this renovation has added immense value to my home. It's not just the beautiful aesthetics, it's the improved functionality and the sheer joy of finally having a kitchen that works for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aguitektura to any of my clients looking to elevate their living space. In fact, I'm already singing their praises! If you're looking for a kitchen renovation that exceeds expectations, look no further than Aguitektura. They'll turn your culinary dreams into reality, and who knows, you might just find yourself writing a rave review just like mine! P.S. Don't forget to ask about their floor plan expertise! Install Boiler FAQs, answered by experts

Hydronic and standard electric baseboard heaters differ in how they operate, their cost, and their performance. Standard convection heaters use electric coils to heat the air directly, while hydronic heaters warm a contained liquid like water or oil, which then radiates heat into the room.

In terms of cost and efficiency, hydronic heaters usually have a higher upfront price but are more energy-efficient and cheaper to run over time. This is because the heated liquid retains warmth, allowing the heater to continue providing heat for a while after the thermostat turns it off. In contrast, electric heaters provide heat more quickly but are less efficient.

Ultimately, the better choice depends on your priorities. If you need a room to heat up fast and have a lower initial budget, an electric heater might be suitable. If long-term energy savings are more important and you don't mind a slower heat-up time, a hydronic heater is likely the better option.

While you’ll pay more upfront for a brand-new HVAC unit, you can save money in the long run. Here’s how to save on your new HVAC system:

  • When purchasing a high-efficiency system, your energy bills will be lower in the future.

  • You may be eligible for special offers from your local energy company.

  • Depending on the system, you may be eligible for HVAC rebates and tax credits.

  • Choose to replace your air conditioning unit and furnace simultaneously to save on labor and installation costs.

The average lifespan of a boiler is typically between 15 and 20 years, though some may last for as little as 10 years while others can reach 30. A boiler's longevity is influenced by several factors, including the quality of the unit, proper installation, and consistent professional maintenance.

The material also plays a significant role. Older boilers made from durable cast iron can last for over 20 years, with some functioning for up to 50 years. However, it's important to consider their lower efficiency, which can lead to higher utility bills. Modern boilers, often made from steel alloys, are designed to withstand high pressure and temperatures and have an average lifespan of about 20 years.

To maximize your boiler's lifespan, ensure it is installed correctly, have it professionally maintained each year, and address any necessary repairs immediately.

A furnace takes in cool air, heats it through the burner and heat exchanger, and sends the air on its way to warm your home. A boiler is a pressurized vessel that produces hot water or steam to heat the home and provide hot water. A boiler may or may not work together with a furnace.

A common HVAC rule is that for every 500 to 600 square feet of living space, you need 1 ton of heating or cooling capacity. Now that you know this common rule, you also need to know that it isn’t very accurate, and a dedicated pro wouldn’t use it for your home. If you talk to a pro who won’t or can’t perform a proper Manual J calculation, consider hiring someone more thorough.
