Alex returned my call that afternoon and came out the next day around noon and quickly diagnosed the problem and had our old unit running in about half an hour. In conversation with Alex I discussed the possibility of replacing my 17 year old unit which had been a problem with 3 previous service calls in the last year. Within a day he sent me an estimate which was very competitive and reasonable. Within 2 weeks he replaced both my compressor and air handler in a very hot attic. "IPS responded quickly and fixed the issue (gutter pulling away from the eave) the next day. They also took care of another issue that I was aware of which had worsened considerably - broken boots that surround the bathroom & kitchen exhaust vent pipes on the roof.
