"At times, it is difficult to get a response from a contractor. Not only was Bansaz Construction responsive, but I also received an estimate the same day they visited to assess the project. Once the materials were in stock, the job (retaining wall) was completed in a timely manner. As some of the other reviews indicate, the team is neat, courteous, professional and clean up the job site daily. "Mike and his crew were awesome. I can’t say enough about them. I had to wait awhile for the job to be done due to the rainy weather, but it was so worth the wait. I had some concrete removed and my driveway extended with asphalt. Also had curbing installed to retain my neighbor’s driveway (I live in a row home). Mike and his crew were totally professional and have a great work ethic. Again, I can’t say enough about them. I will definitely have them back for another project in the near future. "In preparation we moved everything in the basement away from the walls like they asked, although some of the shelves that I built could not be moved more than ~24 inches away from one of the walls. The next day the crew of three came over promptly at 8 AM. I told the crew leader about the shelves and he said that the space may be sufficient depending on the how far the footer underneath came in from the walls (as it turned out it was fine). They also moved the heavy concrete utility sink out of the way without damaging it. They crew hung plastic to partition the untouched sections of the basement and the rest of the house. I was told that the job was to take two days and it did. They cleaned up as best they could--vacuuming the stairs and didn't leave any debris or trash inside or out, although there was a light coating of dust on the everything in the basement which I expected. When they finished they walked me though the basement and everything looked great so I was glad to pay them as agreed in the contract. I am very pleased with the job, although I was slightly dissatisfied with the concrete pored over the drain because it wasn't always level with the existing floor and wasn't totally troweled smooth (I ended up floating the sections of the patch myself to level and get a better finish). Overall I think those are minor criticisms it was was a more than satisfactory experience."

"Bob was on time, very responsive and the job was done quickly, efficiently and well. I had a fair amount of spot pointing to be done to my 100 year old home, as well as, cement repair and a steel lintel installed above a bathroom window. Bob was great at balancing the time spent on the different sections of the house. For example, the back of my garage wall had some pretty bad spots, but my concern was not with perfection of the look, just keeping water out and the cost down, while the re pointing he did above the windows and in the brick work facing the street he spent more time on to blend in with the preexisting brick and it looks fantastic. His crew was organized, on time, neat and respectful. I am very happy with their work. Thank you Bob and the entire Premier crew."
