Pierce was a patient and eager landscaping contractor, listening carefully to our needs and budget and formulating a beautiful refurbishment of the area described above. Pierce's knowledge of plant selection appeared comprehensive and he helped us understand and select an attractive array of perennials and shrubs. Further, Pierce engineered a near weed-free planting area that made our curving flagstone walkway especially attractive. Pierce L. Shallis Landscaping & Design is not the cheapest but his prices are very reasonable for the thoughtfulness of design and the quality of their work."

"Santos repaired brickwork on steps and porch foundation; also repaired and painted attic windows and a decorative window on an upper floor. He had to come back to complete the work (because of weather) and he did that promptly. His fee was very reasonable."

"In preparation we moved everything in the basement away from the walls like they asked, although some of the shelves that I built could not be moved more than ~24 inches away from one of the walls. The next day the crew of three came over promptly at 8 AM. I told the crew leader about the shelves and he said that the space may be sufficient depending on the how far the footer underneath came in from the walls (as it turned out it was fine). They also moved the heavy concrete utility sink out of the way without damaging it. They crew hung plastic to partition the untouched sections of the basement and the rest of the house. I was told that the job was to take two days and it did. They cleaned up as best they could--vacuuming the stairs and didn't leave any debris or trash inside or out, although there was a light coating of dust on the everything in the basement which I expected. When they finished they walked me though the basement and everything looked great so I was glad to pay them as agreed in the contract. I am very pleased with the job, although I was slightly dissatisfied with the concrete pored over the drain because it wasn't always level with the existing floor and wasn't totally troweled smooth (I ended up floating the sections of the patch myself to level and get a better finish). Overall I think those are minor criticisms it was was a more than satisfactory experience."

"I needed a landing from my patio to my yard. I hated having to always walk on grass so I wanted a concrete landing or some type of design. So AG construction created concrete steps leading to a slab. In the future an added gazebo or playground would bring the look together. It looks much better than it did in my opinion."
