"This was a fairly extensive project. My backyard was nothing but weeds and rocks and dirt, in pits and valleys. I wanted a green lawn, and different levels, separated by a wall. I picked Pierce because he was well reviewed, and he didn’t try to upsell me. “You don’t need a retaining wall” he said, just stairs. When I was considering mulch rather than seed he said a similar thing “I don’t even think mulch will work with all the thistle you have.” I found Pierce to be very knowledgeable in addressing issues that came up throughout the project, and very efficient. I checked him on the cost of each phase of the project, and I always found his number reasonable. He is a bit of a perfectionist - he wants things done the right way. But the result has been worth it. I now have a beautiful lawn and steps where before there was nothing. He has even followed up with me several times since to check on how the lawn is progressing. I am very satisfied."

"Edgar has done everything from tearing down and rebuilding brick stoop walls and topping with new cement toppers, repointing brickwork on the main house to repairing a very high chimney on a terra cotta roof. He also followed us to our new home in a different county and did timely repairs and topped our stone chimney and acid washed the stone fireplace inside. "Atila is very easy to deal with.  He takes great pride in his work and explains everything.  We worked together on the design and colors.  We came up with a creative solution to where the cuts in the concrete should be to both serve the structural integrity as well as the aesthetic appeal to look more like cobblestone than concrete.  Each day, he debriefed me on the progress and any challenges.  I felt he went the extra mile to ensure the job came out satisfactory to both of us.
It is a nearly year after the work was completed, and I am still very satisfied.  My only complaint is about some puddling in the drive, but overall I still highly recommend Artisan.  I intend to use them to maintain the concrete (e.g. sealing) as would use them again for any new work.
