"It could not have gone better. The crew even worked on a rainy day until it became more of a deluge. I can't say enough good things about this company and wish that the other reviewer had a better experience with them. Hard to believe it's the same company we are talking about!"

Small jobs welcome

"The dirt around my patio was collapsing and I feared that the concrete slab would also start to collapse. Robert Keeney responded promptly and suggested shooting spray foam into the area. His price was very reasonable so I decided to go for it. So far, it appears to have corrected the problem. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone."

"We had a concrete walkway and patio that was in need of repair. Several cracks and not level. We had several estimates to replace, which was very expensive. We had Lift It Pro give us an estimate on leveling the concrete. The owner was professional, answered all our questions. His price was WAY LOWER than replacing. We were given references to call. He completed the job in the time frame promised. Only one day to raise the concrete, and can use the patio immediately. If considering concrete replacement or repair, do not hesitate to call Lift It Pro"

"It was suggested, by a realtor friend, to have an engineer evaluate my basement problem. This was after Mr. Shelly had submitted an estimate. The engineer's report stated that a wall inside a wall was the best and most economical solution for my basement.   Mr. Shelly called to follow- up on his estimate soon after.  There was no hesitation in hiring him for the job. This was the solution he had already decided was the best solution for my basement. The other contractor's estimates were suggesting a smaller and less expensive correction. This was a very difficult and labor intensive job.  And, we were hit with the coldest winter in recent years.  Nevertheless, the work was done professionally and as fast as possible under the circumstances.  A few times the masons had to postpone a days work because of the sub-freezing temperatures and the freezing of their equipment.   Mr. Shelly was hands on for most of the work, and I saw him personally painting my basement floor on his knees.  It dosen't get any better than a contractor who would do this job himself.  I would hire him again and refer him to anyone who would ask."

"But honestly I was not impressed at all. I would have rather him say, you just need new hinges. So he tightened everything up and they are all loose the same as before. He did change out and put a door up for me, that was fine but he really did not fix my problem. If he was a real carpenter, I think he would have said, you know, it's just going to loosen up again. To really change this, I need to repair this, I need to get new hinges, I need to take this piece of wood out. That is more of what I expected. I am afraid I'd have to grade him rather low. He was more of a handyman than a carpenter to me. He did his little work in less than the time allotted and was gone. I was kicking myself for that one. It was worth a try because it did help for a short time but it really didn't last. He came probably within that month. That part was good. He called back, we booked it right away, he was prompt, all of that stuff was true. He was a nice guy, I just wasn't too impressed with the actual work. He did what I asked but it really didn't solve my problem. It was probably an A for price but I expected more for it."

"We hired this company to pour a slab of concrete for a shed. The gentleman was very courteous and did the job as described and we have no complaints. Would definitely hire again."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Yes, expanding foam (also known as polyurethane foam) can lift concrete. This approach, called polyjacking, involves injecting the foam rather than concrete slurry to fill voids and raise the concrete slab back into place. It’s often faster and requires smaller drill holes than traditional mudjacking, though it may come at a higher cost. Some contractors also prefer polyjacking over mudjacking for more damaged and delicate slabs.

The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.

Address drainage issues, avoid heavy loads, and seal cracks to prevent future settling.

Mudjacking restores level surfaces, prevents further damage, and is more cost-effective than a full replacement.

Most states and municipalities don’t require concrete mudjacking companies to carry a specific license, but they usually need to have a general contractor’s license, and they should be fully insured. The only exception is if the mudjacking company provides foundation repairs as well, or if it offers mudjacking for home foundations. In that case, they will typically need a foundation repair contractor’s license. You can check state requirements and then use Angi’s license lookup tool to confirm that a company is properly licensed to provide mudjacking services in your area.
