"When Donny (plumber) got to my house I explained my problem. He tried several times to clear the kitchen drain, but it was unsuccessful due to mud clogged in drain in a pipe in the basement. He advised to add an access pipe to outside for better access to unclog drain without having to do major redesigning pipes in basement. Once the new access pipe was installed the outside the drain was cleared with not problems. Donny also suggested how to sharpen blades on garbage disposal and suggestions on how to keep drain clear in the future. I am so happy about the work Donny did and I am very grateful to him. This was a job that may have costed so much more, but Donny provided an very economical way of taking care of the problem. He was very professional, courteous, pleasant and caring person. He follow-up to make sure everything was good and I was satisfied. I would recommend Donny to anybody who needs a plumbing job done,"

"October 2013 was the second time I had Dan from American Drain Cleaning & Plumbing do work at my house.  The first job a couple years ago was to replace the shutoff valve on the line to the outside hose bibb.  The second time (October 2013) was for the 3 jobs listed above.  Both times the work was done professionally and in a timely manner.  Both valve replacements were done with higher quality parts than the builder had used.  After the initial installation, the shower needed adjusting to run hotter and getting that done took a single phone call, and it was done the next day.  So I would say American Drain is responsive to calls after the primary job is done.  The cost for the 3 jobs in October 2013 included the hardware & labor. Based on experiences I have had with other plumbing companies in the area, American Drain Cleaning & Plumbing is more reasonable.  I would recommend them and plan to use them in the future.

"We could not be happier with the Puronics Hydronex iGen Whole home treatment system and Micromax 7000 drinking water system provided by Orbit Water Solutions. Justin, the marketing rep who sold us the system, was very professional and accommodating. Justin took about an hour to demonstrate a series of tests which reflected to quality of our water which had more chlorine and hardness than we expected. If you have concerns for lead, Orbit standard demonstration does test for it so you will need to have a separate test done. After some negotiation, we were able to settle on a deal which got us the system and financing for the next 10 years. Orbit provides annual maintenance services on the machine and there is a lifetime warranty on parts which really assured us we were making an investment to improve our water. The best part about it is that the system travels with you. For a small fee, Orbit will pack the system up and ship it to your next home if you move which was a big selling point for us. Orbit also threw in a subscription to PureSelects soap for the next 10 years which was a nice add-on. PureSelects provides every kind of soap or cleaning product you could ask for so it will be nice not to have to purchase additional soap products in the near future. Within a couple days, the installation team came out to install the system. They arrived on time but the installation took a little bit longer than expected. Turns out our the installed garbage disposal was too large to fit with the RO unit tank under the sink. Orbit was very accommodating though. Orbit purchased a new garbage disposal and installed it free of charge which I bet many companies would not have done. I highly recommend getting the larger of the under sink tanks for the RO unit. Even with the two gallon tank, my family has used up all the water in the tank. A 1 gallon tank would just not have been enough. The water in our house has been incredible since we installed the system a few months ago. We noticed an immediate impact to our skin and hair after using it and our drinking water certainly tastes better. Best of all, we feel confident in the quality of the water we use throughout the house to keep us safe and our appliances in good condition. We highly recommend the investment in the water treatment systems through Orbit."

"I have nothing but praises to sing for this company! Our heat stopped working on us last week right before the temp was expected to drop significantly. I checked Angie's List, found Air Temp Solutions, submitted my issue and within minutes I received a phone call to set my appointment. They sent over Rob Teixeira who was EXCELLENT!!!! He immediately detected the issue which was the flame sensor, fixed it and viola...we had heat again in no time! We are planning on doing further work with this company as we need to have an additional return grille installed. When I purchased the new garbage disposal, he installed it and I asked him if he could look at my side by side refrigerator freezer and the one I had in the basement with a top freezer and I was having a problem with them leaking water because the lines were freezing up. He looked at them before he left and said he could fix them but had another appointment after mine. He came back the next day and fixed both my refrigerator/freezers. No problems with them now. "The heat exchanger on our 23 year old high efficiency gas heater got a 4 inch crack in it which means it was leaking carbon monoxide. It also meant we had to replace the heater and the central air conditioner.  After figuring out which make and model new gas heater and air conditioner we wanted, we got 3 estimates for exactly the same units.  Murphy gave us the best price and even charged $825 less than another company wanted  to install an ultraviolet light in the system which kills germs, bacteria, mold and mildew since I have really bad allergies.
Tito and Mike from Murphy's arrived exactly on time.  The installation went in beautifully especially since two other companies said we would have to remove paneling from our rec room which had been built  AFTER the original heater was installed 23 years ago.  This would be a really hard thing to do.
 Well, Tito worked his magic and we DID NOT have to rip our rec room apart to run lines to the air conditioner which exited the outside wall behind the paneling, a place hard to get at.  What professionals!   Both men were pleasant, courteous, and professional.  Everything was left neat and clean.
 
We love our new heater.  It runs so quietly we don't even know it is running.  Quite a difference from the old furnace.
Would we use them again, yes, and we did for a plumbing problem we discovered while making room for the old heater to go out and the new one to come in..

"We called Charles Moon Plumbing on Friday and they were able to schedule us on Tuesday morning (this was not an emergency, so that was very acceptable). Sebastian and Eric arrived early (after calling first) and looked at the situation. They loosened the disposal with the tool, then hit the reset button (which we hadn't thought to look for!) and the disposal worked perfectly. They gave us some tips about using ice cubes and chopped up lemons periodically to keep the blades sharp and the unit smelling better, told us to keep an eye on the unit as there is some rust starting and were on their way with only a service charge. Best of all, they didn't make us feel silly for missing the reset button! We will definitely call them again."
