"When Donny (plumber) got to my house I explained my problem. He tried several times to clear the kitchen drain, but it was unsuccessful due to mud clogged in drain in a pipe in the basement. He advised to add an access pipe to outside for better access to unclog drain without having to do major redesigning pipes in basement. Once the new access pipe was installed the outside the drain was cleared with not problems. Donny also suggested how to sharpen blades on garbage disposal and suggestions on how to keep drain clear in the future. I am so happy about the work Donny did and I am very grateful to him. This was a job that may have costed so much more, but Donny provided an very economical way of taking care of the problem. He was very professional, courteous, pleasant and caring person. He follow-up to make sure everything was good and I was satisfied. I would recommend Donny to anybody who needs a plumbing job done,"

"October 2013 was the second time I had Dan from American Drain Cleaning & Plumbing do work at my house.  The first job a couple years ago was to replace the shutoff valve on the line to the outside hose bibb.  The second time (October 2013) was for the 3 jobs listed above.  Both times the work was done professionally and in a timely manner.  Both valve replacements were done with higher quality parts than the builder had used.  After the initial installation, the shower needed adjusting to run hotter and getting that done took a single phone call, and it was done the next day.  So I would say American Drain is responsive to calls after the primary job is done.  The cost for the 3 jobs in October 2013 included the hardware & labor. Based on experiences I have had with other plumbing companies in the area, American Drain Cleaning & Plumbing is more reasonable.  I would recommend them and plan to use them in the future.

Gave price of $199.00. When delivery has been made and all is well, call him and he will schedule installation. Because of the expected large investment that I needed to make to replace both units, I went out for competitive bid with two other firms, both of which were reputable but larger, corporate-based firms here in southeastern Pennsylvania. "Murphy's Plumbing replaced a portion of our sewer line. Jeff presented us with a cost efficient and minimally invasive solution, involving running our line above ground and under our oil tank. He assured us this is "not a big deal". Other plumbers were more alarmist recommending tearing up a lot of our concrete floor or even draining and removing our oil tank to run the line under ground. Steve and crew were extremely efficient and clean, completing the work exactly as expected and on time. Listening to the crew work in the basement, I could tell they are very concerned with doing quality work and have a lot of pride for their trade. Sewer issues are miserable, but Murphy's presented a level-headed and simple solution and took the stress our of the problem. I hope we never need a plumber again, but the reality is we will be hiring them again!"
