"We came home from an outing on a Sunday night and found our air conditioner not working. I found John Mullen on Angie's list and liked the reviews. I contacted John and he asked me about my schedule on Monday. He fit us in on Monday morning. I wasn't home but my wife was. She said that John was so nice that she assumed that he was a friend of mine. I told her that I never met him before. He fixed the air conditioner and I am relieved that it didn't cost us a ton and we avoided 85 degree heat with an air conditioner. I would use John again. He was dependable, came out with in 12 hours of being called, and my wife does not always comment on how nice someone is unless it is absolutely true. Thumbs up for John Mullen, I have just found a go to guy for everything!"

"I have had air systems mechanical install my high efficiency furnace few years ago and recently install my central air. Their prices are lower than the rest. They are always courteous and professional from salesman to office staff. I have nothing negative to say. Always on time for routine furnace tune up appointments. A great company to deal with."

"Mat and his team are consistently awesome. The first couple years we owned our home we struggled to find a reliable HVAC company to help us. Once we found Home Mechanix we were so relieved, and have never looked back. They’re always prompt, respectful of our home and business (they’ve done work at both), friendly, and happy to explain all work and maintenance. We won’t use anyone else for our HVAC work, period."

In the middle of July, when the thermometer is pushing past 100 degrees Fahrenheit, air conditioning isn't a luxury that's nice to have in Pittsburgh—it's an absolute necessity that you don't want to live without. It's obviously a disaster when your air conditioner grinds to a halt on the hottest day of the year. But it's also incredibly frustrating to deal with an AC unit that only "kind of" works and is struggling to get your house down to the temperature on your thermostat or control humidity levels. When you notice those types of annoying issues, it's necessary to get professional Pittsburgh air conditioner repair services before the problem worsens and you're left sweltering in an overheated house.

"I was extremely satisfied with the services provided and I will continue to use Sullivan in the future. I bought a $39 Angie's List deal for an inspection with $100 toward repairs; this was a great deal. It was very easy to schedule the appointment for a couple days later (they had availability as early as the next day). Brandon arrived within the agreed-upon window and called before his arrival, and he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He talked through all my options with me and explained the risks very clearly. I was so pleased with the services that I decided to pay for a $16.90/month plan to cover my AC and heating needs going forward."

"Installed new AC unit. . Professional and prompt service."

"I hired S&S to install a mini-split ductless system to service my bedrooms as they do not have adequate heating and cooling. They were extremely responsive and completed the work quickly, efficiently and cleanly. I would highly recommend them!"

"Within 5 minutes told me I needed 2 wires replaced on my AC and it would cost $175. I then asked to see the wires and told him my husband could replace them and I would just pay service charge. He became intense telling me t hat if he had to come back he would have to charge me mileage because he did not realize how far it was and then stated Home Advisor should not of given him the lead because of the distance. My husband replaced the wires and when he did the compressor blew up!!!!!! Bought a new air conditioner from someone not on the Home Advisor list."

"I had the crew of Glenn, Brenden &Josiah to clean my air ducts. They were very clean and efficient. They explained everything and pointed out mistakes in the construction of my ducts with cold air returns. They also left information for UV purifier for my son’s allergies to review. I liked the fact that the work was hospital grade."
