I had a poor experience with another windows installer in my area, and have heard horror stories of tremendous markups and general ethical problems in this industry as a whole. After speaking with Andrew on the phone (he looks at your home on Google and begins the conversation from there on the phone. The company only comes to your home to measure windows once I was signed on). I did not get any other estimates because the information provided and the estimate I received convinced me I probably didn't need to look elsewhere. The scheduling went well, despite dealing with a few times they had to reschedule due to bad weather. EJ and JR ( a father-son team) came out and installed all 10 of my windows over two Saturdays. They were friendly, attentive to my questions, cleaned up after themselves well, and demonstrated how the windows worked. I think the question homeowners often ask in their minds is whether you are receiving quality materials and workmanship when you hire a contractor to come in and do a project. I definitely felt as if I was receiving a quality product at a reasonable (but not cheap) price. The fact that they guarantee their windows for life is also reassuring.
