Great people and great service. My basement was a wet mess, but now it is so nice and dry, my little granddaughters play down there all the time.

I am 64 years old and have never done an online recommendation previously. I am in this instance due to their superior performance on my basement waterproofing and wall anchor project. Everyone affiliated with the company personified competence, conscientiousness and customer service. Have never had a better customer experience-could not recommend them any more highly.

We had our basement waterproofed in May 2019, the crew was out for 3 days. They also did some landscape grading. It's been 1.5 years and no problem. Very professional company. If I have any questions Carl or his wife, Jayna, respond promptly. I would highly recommend ABC for waterproofing a basement.

Owners were very good at communicating with us up to the day of the job to start. The crew and foreman were awesome. They were courteous, hard working, and left our home in much better shape than when they first got there. Sometimes companies forget that they are represented by the men that show up on the job, but this company has some great guys representing them which is why I would recommend this company for any water problems you have in your basement. They were prompt, and friendly. They worked in my basement and they hung tarps, etc...to take extra care in getting things dirty, cleaned up afterwards. Very professional and caring.

America's Basement team was great to work with. Chad (the Foreman) on our my basement project was very helpful in going through his plan prior to starting and also gave me updates throughout the day. Chad and his crew was able to complete the project efficiently and was able to complete the job in under a day. They also did a great job with answering any questions I had. Not as professional as I expected to take more care not to damage the stairs, floors and walls of the basement. Update to this review: The problems have been resolved to our satisfaction.

I hired them to install interior footer drainage system in my basememt due to water leaking through the foundation. Ive had water leaking into my finished basement for almost 2 years and could not find the source. Their system works. We've had quite a bit of rain lately and my basement is now dry. My basement would have been wet had they not installed the drainage system. I'm very happy about that

America's Basement Contractor is a great company to work with. They were very knowledgeable and well versed on water proofing and knew how to address the problems. Care was taken to protect the flooring inside our home with many drop cloths. It is very reassuring to have a lifetime guarantee on their work. Our crew was friendly, courteous and hard working. Back filling in the trenches after the piping had been laid proved to be a challenging chore. We have had a very wet month so I'm sure that this was a major contributing factor along with fatigue setting in after hours of work.

We got multiple quotes for our basement waterproofing. ABC not only beat the competitor's price, but they included a wall covering that the competitors didn't. In addition, they didn't hound us and play pricing games. We are happy to support a family owned local business; the owners seemed very genuine and down to earth. The work crew completed the work in 2 days - they were fantastic. Worked well together and worked HARD. They obviously knew what they were doing. One guy whistled a tune as he carried buckets of concrete out of our basement - this is a sign of a contented person. The foreman communicated with us throughout the project and all the guys were respectful of our home. We hope to never need the warranty, but we're glad to have it. Overall thrilled to have this project behind us and we know we took a chance on the right company.

I had a terrible problem with water coming in my basement this past spring. Beginning in April 2017, I had water seeping in from the bottom of my basement walls 24 hours a day, every day. It was exhausting - my wife and I could barely leave the house for work because we had towels at several areas around the perimeter of the basement that had to be changed every few hours due to the amount of water intake. When we got to a point that we had bought 40+ towels and they still couldn't contain the water in the basement, and we were constantly moving them from the floor, to the washer (spin-drain), to the dryer, we were at our wits end and decided we needed to bring in a professional. Having worked in the contracting industry years ago, I am highly skeptical of any contractor who comes in my home. I have seen the "dark side" of the business first-hand, which is why I got out of it. I was very impressed with the online reviews for America's Basement Contractor, and decided to give them a chance. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. The team from America's Basement Contractor was incredibly professional and caring throughout the process, from the initial quote to completing the job. They could tell my wife and I were very stressed out and frustrated with our basement problems, and they took great care to assure us they could help and make it an easy and affordable process. There was absolutely no pressure at the point of sale, which we appreciated, and they even put a rush on our job and moved us up on their schedule as early as possible to accommodate a vacation we had planned and help get us past the misery we were living with as quickly as they could. The men that worked in our basement doing the waterproof system installation were very courteous and professional. They were happy to answer any questions I had and show me their progress as they went along. They took the time to do the job right and it was a pleasure having them work in my home. I would HIGHLY recommend ABC to anyone having water problems in their basement. My family was so very thankful for the work they did, relieving the horrible stress we were living with, battling a 24-7 water intake. I would easily recommend ABC to anyone who is getting water in their basement/foundation. I had interior french drains installed. I was very happy with the commercial materials used and quality of work. The crew was very efficient and worked quickly. Also, very reasonably priced when compared to competitors.

We will definitely recommend this company to others. The crew that came to our house to install curtain drains, waterproof our basement, and fix our bulkhead door walls was great! They were very knowledgeable an answered all of our questions. They even tackled a couple of unexpected issues without hesitation. The crew always arrived when they told us they would and they were a very hard working crew from the start. They were at our house for a few days and they continued to work with the same diligence as they showed on the 1st day, even when faced with some very hot days of almost 90 degree weather. They cleaned up the job site when completed. So a big thank you to Dan, Dan, Chad, and the rest of the crew for doing such a wonderful job on our basement and for being so easy to work with. We could not have asked for a better experience, so again, we thank you all. :)

Our wet basement was in serious need of a sump pump. We called American Basement Contractors and talked to the owner of the company, Carl. By afternoon, Ethan, his assistant was inspecting our home in Rochester Pa. Ethan gave us our estimate that evening and we felt it was a fair bid. Danny, the foreman, and his team were organized, prompt, and professional in their commitment to this labor intensive job. Everything was cleaned up and ready for us to get back to enjoying our basement when they promptly completed the great job. We recommend Danny and the team to everyone who needs this kind of work. We found this company by looking at all the positive reviewers online. Unfortunately we bought a house that the previous owners put an addition on themselves and they did not properly install the foundation. The walls were cracking and bowing. We got an estimate from a excavation company who wanted to remove ALL the basement walls, not just the 2 bad ones for 26k!!!! I don't know anyone who can afford that! We got an estimate from a masonry company who wanted 10k for one wall. Then, we met Jack from America's Basement Contractor. He demonstrated the utmost professionalism. He provided a quote which was very reasonable for Wall Anchors. We later received a call from Carl, the owner, stating he went over the estimate and we were quoted for more than we actually need to have done. I have never had an owner of a company contact us to provide this service! The work was completed today and it was determined an additional anchor was needed. The foreman called Carl and there was no additional charge for this. This is a family owned company. If they do not immediately answer, leave a message and they will return your call and you will be glad they did! I will recommend them to my friends and family. This company does not advertise because their work and professionalism speak for itself!

This is my first experience of going out on my own for a contractor without any help from the males in my family. America's basement staff from the formen, to the owner and all the labor's, treated me with kindness, even with me asking questions over and over again . My basement flooded and the whole finished basement was destroyed. The first person I met was Jack and he walked me through the whole process of what a French drain and sump pump does. He told me to take my time, no pressure ,get other estimates and call him back if I chose them. There was no pressure from the company the owner this is why I chose them. Outstanding Family Values. I would highly recommend this company.
