Everdry Basement Waterproofing

We have had our Everdry system for 6 years now and water simply does not come in. The job progressed as scheduled, with explanations offered during all stages of completion. The people in the work crew were very courteous and friendly. The job was completed on time. My wife was so happy when they were finished she made the crew a spaghetti dinner to celebrate. Today it rained so hard in the morning, I thought the basement could possibly have gotten some water in. I should not have worried as it is still as dry as a bone! We are very happy with our decision to use Everdry Waterproofing. The EZ breathe works well and the sump pump rarely turns on as the waterproofing keeps the water OUT! Thanks EverDry!

First of all, I want to thank EverDry for giving me a waterproof basement. The guys worked hard for 5 days and did such heavy, messy work. I can't imagine such hard labor for 5 days at my house and then, very soon, going on to another job that was just as physically taxing. Steve did a great job covering the floors and my belongings with plastic to make sure, every day, that everything was still covered. And whoever did the encapsulation underneath the steps going down to the basement did a stellar job. There was some tweaking to do with the rest of the encapsulation so they came back to work on it and now it looks great. They'll be coming back to smooth out the dirt and remove stones and pebbles underneath the front porch, the front lawn and around the perimeter of the house when the weather is more predictable. Matthew, the owner, was even kind enough to pay for boarding 2 of my kitties that would have gotten underfoot that week. The guys were here January 8-12. Unfortunately, the process of digging up and unplugging the down spout drain was not explained to me, whereby the run-off pipe could be connected to it, taking the water under the sidewalk and onto the street. Instead, the pipe was routed up the basement wall and connected to a pipe outside that they placed 10 inches or so underground, stopping at the edge of a small embankment overlooking the sidewalk. When the foreman showed me what had been done, I knew it wasn't right. I knew that water would spill out of the pipe, directly onto the sidewalk. The next morning, January 13, ice was covering a good part of the sidewalk and I had to call the City to quickly have 3 orange cones placed on the ice. I called a plumber and they came over immediately to have this corrected. The only thing that could be done was to reroute the sump pump line to the sewer drain, which is allowed where I live. As I stated, I didn't have it routed to the down spout drain as it had not been explained to me; I didn't know it had to be dug up and unplugged. A week later, Roy, the Project Manager, came up to assess all that had gone on. He made a list of all that needed to be done. I had a friend with me, a retired contractor, and he heard all that was said between Roy and me. I asked Roy to pay the plumber bill for rerouting the sump pump line to the main drain. He agreed to pay it and my friend will wholeheartedly vouch for that. Roy and I continued to talk about other issues, eventually summarizing what was discussed. I asked him again about the bill. I remember that he lowered his head, shut his eyes briefly, nodded yes and said yes, to confirm that he would pay the bill. I asked him if I should email the invoice to Matthew and he said, no, that he had a separate email address for the Service Department, which he gave me. I remember writing it on the paper I had in my hand. I emailed the invoice to him that same day, January 22, using the Service Department address. I would never have known to use that email address if Roy hadn't given it to me, I have the email to prove it. Therefore, I was surprised to receive a past due bill from the plumber. I sent an email to Accounting, Matthew and Roy, thinking that perhaps their payment and the past due bill crossed in the mail. Roy called me and stated that he never said he would pay the bill. I very nicely disagreed; I didn't want to argue. I was going to let it go entirely but it wouldn't be right if I did. I called and emailed Matthew this week to discuss, I still hope to hear from him. Roy also thought that I was asking him to pay to have the down spout drain dug up and unplugged. I never asked him to pay that and I would never expect him to do so; that is my responsibility. On February 2, when Matthew fully explained to me the procedure involving the down spout drain, I had the work done, EverDry came up February 19, connected it all, the run-off is going under the sidewalk and onto the street. I would like nothing better than to have the aforementioned bill paid and a good relationship with EverDry.

I had the EverDry waterproofing system installed in and around my house in 2019. After every rain my basement would literally flood. It was frustrating and stressful. After the system was installed my worries ceased. A few weeks ago the pump started making a grinding noise so I called and they came out promptly and replaced it. The new pump is so quiet I thought it wasn’t working but it was! I would like to especially thank Chase P. for coming out on a very cold day to fix my problem. He was very nice and courteous. I was nervous when I hired Everdry due to the extent of work needed done to my basement and yard. But they came in and did a wonderful job. Everyone was really nice to work with. There was a miscommunication in the description of a add-on job I needed them to do for me but they worked with me and in the end it all worked out. I would definitely work with them again. I would recommend them but depending on your level of work that needs done the packages can be very expensive. I can say though, so far it's been great. I've had zero water in my basement since they fixed it. Thank guys! There was one specific employee I would like to call out for being amazing and going above and beyond. David, you are the man! He kept it real and straight with me and really made sure I was happy in the end. I appreciate you, keep being awesome.

Everdry has done a very good job of doing quality work and communicating with us about what they intended to do and then what they did. Their representatives have been professional, knowledgeable, and kind. We would recommend them to anyone interested in having their basement waterproofed.

Ever dried showed up on time every day worked in a timely manner very professional and knowledgeable they did a walk-through showed me what they were going to do found the problems were I had water coming in fix problems Doug on the outside and the inside all the way around did a good job they did a walk-through each day when they were finished and showed what they did and what they still had to do

The crew were very polite and very respectful of the property (plants, appliances, etc. they had to work around). They were punctual and worked hard while they were here. I appreciated the daily walk-through of the progress each afternoon when they finished up for the day. They also did a great job cleaning up for such a big and dirty job (they're literally tearing up the ground around and underneath your house, but it was surprisingly contained the whole time) Nobody wants to deal with a wet basement problem, but these guys left me feeling like this problem was solved and I'll never have to worry about it again. In my opinion you just can't put a price tag on that peace of mind.

Everdry basement waterproofing service made the most sence to me when meeting with a couple different waterproofing companies ,not one wanted to fix the whole problem , they only wanted to do slight fixes which in the long run wouldn't have fixed our basement flooding during heavey rains , Everday came out , explained what they would do and even though it is expensive to have the whole house done in the long run for trying to sell your home this is woth much more than other improvvements , havent has any water problems since having this done

With these 100 year rains every year now we would get water in our basement, but 2 year ago while out of state our basement flooded again while our son was home , enough was enough, I contacted a few different companies and had estimates done but when I had the guy from Everdry come he explained things in more detail and we ended up having the whole house done , inside French drain and sump pump and since then we no longer get water in our basement because everdry took care of the problem

Very satisfied with service. With the system having a backup pump to keep my basement dry it was not a complete emergency but they treated as such.

After having a dampness problem for some time, I had Ever Dry come out to tell us what had to be done. Quite a job, but in four days the job was finished inside and out.
