"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. We would highly recommend anyone needing brick or masonry work to use Michener Chimney and Masonry. "I am sure that all positive reviews for this company are fake. Nothing that was promised to me was delivered. My siding project is still ongoing for over 1 month. Was told that it would be done in week. Had one rain day. They have system like this: 1) sales person who never installed anything he will promise you things that obviously are not true, 2) crew that is subcontracted but not Gunner, mine was driving for over 2 hours away, 3) person who oversees the project but has little control over anything, no supply, doesn't know the crew, crew does not listen to him, main office does not listen to him, 4) main office does not reply to you. They just tell me to talk to project manager who has no control. So you understand that if there are any issue you are on your own. Quality or work is not good. Many times I had to point to the crew what's wrong, planks are broken yet they were still installing it, caulking is done they way that I can do it better, they cut wires to awning etc"

"Three Rivers Brick Ponting & Cleaning is an EXCELLENT company! I am very pleased with their professional service. I’ve worked with them for almost 3-years regarding chimney and brick pointing. And they always give 110% performance! A few weeks ago, I noticed water was beginning to leak around the ceiling area of our chimney. The heavy rains were very unusual for the winter months. Nonetheless, I was concerned the problem would get worse if I waited until spring—so I called Dorin. He responded within 20-minutes! And two-days later he had workers on my roof making repairs. "I wish this was a 5 or even 4 star review but it's not. This company is a mess, we had 2 crews, the first crew did pretty poor work, the second crew was better but there were still details missed. The first crew put over 2 dozen cuts into my wood window trim and while they said they'd come look at it, they have since ghosted me. I have spent numerous hours repairing this. Project management and quality is left largely to the customer. You better know what you want and what you're looking at to get work done by this company. My historic brick is common but they didn't bother to source any. I could have done so if I had known. After 3 rounds I finally got a brick that was close but it took calling upper management to make it happen. The mortar and the terracotta patch don't match existing despite me trying to coordinate with them ahead of time. Bottom line is details are always someone else's problem. The parts that are good are pretty well done but some of it is pretty sloppy."
