"Homeowners beware!!! EASE "installed" a brand new heat pump in my home just a little over a month ago and I can't get the temperature in my home below 78 degrees now in the heat of the summer. I called my home warranty to advise them, and EASE would not respond to their request for reservice, which I'm actually grateful for once I learned how improperly they installed to begin with. There's a laundry list of everything they did wrong, including a huge gap in the air handler in my attic, causing tons of wasted electricity and my cold air blowing in the attic instead of my bedrooms. They also set the outside unit lopsided which is going to destroy the compressor in as soon as a year's time. I now have to basically have the whole thing reinstalled. I'm a single female homeowner, I guess they thought they didn't need to bring good work since I wouldn't know any better. Pathetic and a testiment to how little integrity this company posseses. Take it from me, use a different company!!"

We are a small family owned fence company that has been in business for 40+ years. We specialize in chain link, split rail, custom board, vinyl and aluminum fences. We have about eight employees and the majority of our employees have been with the company in excess of ten years. We take pride in our workmanship and customer satisfaction. Because it's cost-effective and does a great job of keeping pests out and plants in, vinyl is probably the best option for building a DIY garden fence. The material is also easier to work with than metal, which may prompt a homeowner to tackle the project themselves instead of hiring a pro. 

Chicken wire is also a great option to put on top of your vinyl fencing, as it’s budget-friendly and easily accessible.

Ideally, when you replace a fence post, you should also replace the concrete footing. The concrete bonds to your new post, creating a secure base. If you install a new post into old concrete, it won’t be as sturdy.

That said, it is possible. Sometimes the post will lift right out of the concrete. If not, you can use a high-lift car jack to try and lift the pole out of the footing. Put the new post into the same hole and backfill it with fast-setting concrete. Keep in mind, this won’t work well for metal posts.

If you have the time and the budget, we strongly recommend staining your fence, especially if it's looking a bit tired or hasn't been treated recently. Also, consider the disadvantages: vinyl can be more expensive, while composite fencing fades during the first six months.

Many types of farm fencing can work well for your farm, but it depends on the type of animal you need to contain and the size of your property. If you want something quick and temporary, go with a metal T-post fence. If you need something that will last forever, go with a synthetic fence made of composite material or PVC. Electric and barbed wire fences are often chosen for docile livestock, like pigs and cows.
