We are a general handyman company, who also specialize in bee removal. If there is a swarm of bees that take up residence on your property we can come in and remove the bees and all the insides of the hive, preventing further damage to your property. We also repair the damage that may occur from extraction.

"He did several jobs for us. Some went fine, but others he never finished. He even charged us for some work that he never completed and one of the rentals. He was supposed to have to taken care of several jobs several months ago (1 nearly a year ago), but we are finding out he never did them. In addition, he kept some of our materials (door lock adjustment tool as well as some door locksets) and refuses to respond to calls or texts to complete what he was asked to do, return our materials or simply let us know what happened. He MAY come out and do a job for you and MAY do it OK or he may just ignore you. I should have known when we first started hiring him for jobs and he told me that he was ignoring another woman who was asking him to fix something and he didn't want to do it so he just ignored her. Guess that was a sign that I didn't heed unfortunately. Hopefully he doesn't do a job for you, do it wrong and then you continually try to call or text him to come fix it he will likely do what he did to us and the other lady and just ignore you rather than be a professional and respond appropriately."

Yes, hot tubs are meant to be kept on permanently. It takes more energy to ramp up a hot tub when you turn it on, so leaving it on all the time is more efficient for your hot tub. If water is left inside the hot tub pump over a cold winter, it could freeze and severely damage the pump, water lines, and jets. That can cause leaks, which require very expensive repairs. Freezing or leftover water can stain and damage the hot tub shell, which leads to replacement. Even in mild climates, leaving sitting water in the tub or pipes for a long period of unuse is a bad idea, since disinfecting chemicals fade and the water can develop bacteria, algae, and other big headaches when it’s time to use the tub again.

Follow these general safety tips for spas and hot tubs:

  • Keep your exterior electrical receptacles covered and dry, especially around your hot tub and pool during periods of use.

  • Make sure you have a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) properly installed to ensure no one gets accidentally shocked or injured by electrocution. 

  • Don’t use the hot tub or your pool during a thunderstorm. 

  • Before using the hot tub, have a certified electrician thoroughly inspect your hot tub and its wiring to make sure you’re in full compliance with all applicable local building codes. 

You can drain a hot tub very quickly by using a submersible pump rather than the hose-sized drain at the bottom exterior of the tub. A pump can move up to 30 gallons per minute, draining your hot tub in no time. Using the regular drain can take up to two hours.

You should drain your hot tub three to four times a year to give it a thorough cleaning. This should take about an hour, but it depends on the size of your tub.
