They are wonderful. The owner, both when he came in July and when we set-up in October, was very professional, helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and worked within our schedule.

We moved into a house with an outdoor jacuzzi. Having never had one, we wanted advice on how to maintain it, and we also wanted it inspected, make sure it's in good condition. I could not have asked for a better interaction than Brian provided. He did not try to upsell me anything. He didn't find any problems. He was reassuring - things were in good shape, and there was no need for repairs or special maintenance. I really knew nothing, so he really could have sold me anything, but instead he actually told me a few things I thought I needed, which I did not.
For example, my electrician pointed out that when the jacuzzi was installed (Pool City in Monroeville), they used a 40 amp cable for a 50 amp circuit. I asked Brian if that was safe. He pointed out the previous owners used it that way for eight years, so can't be too bad. We may still get the work done, but Brian's advice made sense. I asked about the cover - do I need a new one? Again, no: you'll know you need a new one when it's getting waterlogged. Jets, etc? All fine.
Brian brought some chemicals, and taught me how and when to use them, and how much. Again, I felt completely reassured. Brian is a straight-shooter, and he'll be our go-to guy going forward. I know he's going to help us enjoy our jacuzzi without paying for things that don't matter. Highly recommended without any reservations whatsoever.

I was looking for someone new to maintain our pool when our last guy was unresponsive. Brian scheduled our opening and came as scheduled. He ordered us a new generator and fixed our heater. It took 3 weeks in total, but looks like we are good for the summer now. He always returned my calls. I haven't received the bill yet, but so far am happy with the service.

North Shore Pools responded to my email in 24 hours. The arrived to close the pool in 48 hours and did the closing in no time flat. They didn't have one of the pieces we needed but were willing to put something in temporarily and return to install the new piece when it came in. Overall this was an A experience and I couldn't be more pleased.

Pool had been covered and closed for seven years.  I attempted to open it and get  water swimmable myself last year without success despite considerable cost an frustration.  Determined to avoid similar frustration this year, I decided to join Agnies List and found North Shore Pools.  Brian, the owner, was difficult to reach initatially due to an early poll opening season.  After a number of calls and over a four week wait I was finally about to contact Brian and arange an appointment.
Once contacted he came the same day we first spoke by telephone and began the pool opening process.  He and his helper were polite, friendly, worked fast and were always professional.  He was honest in his assesment of my equipment and needs and talked me out of purchasing equipment and materials that were really not needed or neccessary.  Brian was clear as to an estimateof the cost for the opening and new equipment needed $450.00 (new DE filters and pool uncovering, pool and equipment inspection, pump and filter relocation, set-up, pool liner repair, pool shocking and chlorination).
Due to several consecutive days of rain, Brian left pump and equipment for continued pool cover pumping.  On the second visit, North Shore uncovered the pool, folded pool cover, and left it at garage door. They relocated the pump and filter to a better location, set up all equipment, did preliminary pool cleaning, patched hole in pool liner, shocked and chlorinated pool.  Brian left written instructions for ongoing pool maintence.  He was readily responsive and patient with to my phone calls regarding additional questions after the installation and opening service.  Despite the long wait for service, I was pleased with North Shore's professionalism and efficiency in getting my pool up and running so quickly, and with Brian's friendly and assuring manner.  I will use them for any additionally problems without hesitation, and for seaon ending pool closing, and opening for next year.
