"Miguel built us a beautiful retaining wall. He and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, and fast! They were at our house first thing in the morning every day during the build, and finished the wall faster than I've ever seen any contractor, on any jobsite! we absolutely love the work He did, and are looking forward to hiring him again when we finish our backyard project!"

"Luis is honest about his work and will be upfront with you in a professional manor. He does not try to upsell you with suggestions; instead, he will educate you with things to look out for and most likely will make an arrangement for repairs and work with you. Again, he is honest with his work. He replace the J-Channel/vinyl for my sliding door and saw so many flaws on what the original builders done. he sealed the corners to prevent water from getting in and was done 100% out of pride of doing his job without charge. he was here for repair and not to seal spots for water entry I paid him with a bit extra because I was happy with his work. Luis is an awesome guy."

"I feel like I got low-balled on the quote. And I kept getting blind-sided by more and more money for things that I found that should not have been that expensive."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

Damage is often caused by moisture, impact, or settling. Regular maintenance prevents significant issues.

Failing to repair damaged stucco can lead to significant problems. Cracks can grow and deepen, allowing water and moisture to get behind the stucco. This moisture intrusion can cause water damage, structural issues, and mold or mildew growth. Delaying repairs will likely cost more in the long run as the damage worsens, so it's best to repair your stucco as soon as you notice any signs of damage, such as cracks, holes, or discoloration.

It typically takes around 30 to 60 minutes for a window pro to replace one window in standard siding types, but a window in stucco will likely take a bit longer because of the density of materials. Custom architectural windows usually require a longer replacement process because of the additional fitting and securing required.

Yes, you can screw directly into stucco. Only do so if the item you are installing is a permanent fixture. Drill a pilot hole into the stucco using a masonry or concrete bit, then drive in the screw with a power drill or screwdriver.

The length of time shouldn’t matter much if you stick with lightweight Christmas lights and similar decorations. Those shouldn’t pose risks to your stucco. You should avoid attaching anything to your stucco that could fall because it’s too heavy, which may take part of the stucco with it. Some methods, like using double-sided tape or adhesive hooks, will naturally wear out over time and lead to falling lights, so don’t expect to leave these lights up year-round.
