When asked why his quote was lower than others, owner reply the larger companies use blocks from quarry. Ok with blocks from Lowes, 2 days completion, but still expected quality work. Subcontractors excellent job on demo and work on front wall. 3rd day, owner solely completed side wall to driveway. Contractors should have finished the job. I was not ok with the side wall design being lower than the lawn. Owner Stephen Q. was verbal aggressive when I asked him to fix it. Neighbors came out. He threaten to remove the wall. Owner explain- property on slope, pay him. Cashiers checks written to owner and not in company's name ($1,900 and $2,200) per owner's request. To fix the misaligned side wall cost est. $2,200 per another contractor. Waiting for est. to fix lawn. Photos taken at a distance are deceiving. Must review up close. Photos attached. Older woman just trying to update my home."

"Repair Service to Fix Gas Boiler - WM Henderson first sends out a tech who is not familiar with gas boilers and admits there is an issue but does not know how to diagnose it. I had to pay $89 for this. Instead of having the right person come out, I had to to actively call again to get someone else to come out. The 2nd tech diagnosed the issue, but wants to charge me the same $89 that I already paid. - and quotes me $380 for the repair - and has to order the part. I agree and then call back the next day to confirm part is on order - and they tell me the charge is $1,015. I asked to speak to a manager to discuss, and no one is available and no one calls me back. I bought the replacement part from a supply where house (confirming it works with my make/model of boiler) and it cost me $165. I have had other scheduling issues with them as well. Don't use them!!!!!!!!"

I have been waiting 3 months for an Appointment to get my annual HVAC system serviced by the Horizon team. Starting this process in June, I was told that September 12th was now an Option after 10 min on hold. I did not accept this as this was another month out and I was not available. I have made no less than 5 attempts to get a service appt on my HVAC and each time, since the "10 Year Warranty" maintenance team is 1/10 the size of the fleet driving around, I was told I would be put on a waiting list to be called back. Nothing! No one ever called me. I keep calling them. Horrible! My frustration is a legal one: My system warranty was several thousand dollars on top of the new units and installation. However If i dont get a $149/year Annual Service I void this; if someone else services the units-I void this. I want a way out: 1) Horizon to reimburse or pay another HVAC company of my choosing to perform this service, and keep my warranty in tack in writing. 2) How about a business model for warranty holders: Schedule me like a Dentist....11-12 months year from my last appointment (provided not winter so my AC can be checked), they send me an appointment reminder. This is a big hassle, anyone else have this issue? PS> During my call 8/16 at around 10:30am, i told the representative this was it, if no call back, I would hit social media (Facebook, Linkedin, Nextdoor, BBB). The power of sharing, the power of community.
