"We are very pleased with the new deck build by Bryan and his team. They first tore down the old deck to the frame, which was still in good shape. They then rebuilt the deck. They replaced the floorboards, the side railings and boards, and the steps. It looks great and is very solid. See attached pics."
"Major full, hall bath renovated over ten years ago. Needed clean-up and refresh. Dave repaired ceiling and walls, painted, replaced medicine cabinet, lighting, fan and switches. Also painted hallway and doors. Did a great job. Recommend and would use again."
"I had the attic of a rental property converted into two bedrooms which needed framing, hanging sheet rock, base board molding installed and handing doors. Tom was able to fit me into his schedule and complete the work with-in 2 weeks.
He came back quickly fixed a few misunderstandings as to what my expectations were and it looks great. I am excited about the finished project. I would contract out with him again."
"Bill and his team handled multiple fixes for our household (I was only allowed to select one option here). First, Bill was very responsive and able to come out to see what I wanted fixed at my first availability. I was given a quote a few days later and it was in the same range as the other three quotes I had received (there was one fix - support under our house and deck that couldn't be accessed from a quick look, but Bill provided a rough estimate - the other companies wouldn't even provide a rough estimate). I decided to go with Zarza, Inc because of the friendliness, detailed description of the estimates, and flexibility to add more work if requested. The team was able to get started just a few weeks after I signed a contract and our experience was phenomenal. Every individual on the 4 person team was friendly, courteous, and extremely talented. The list of items we had Bill and his team at Zarza, Inc fix/address included; basement ceiling drywall fixes and painting, outdoor window repair, shed roof replacement, shed door replacement, complete outdoor deck repair, expansion of deck stairs to make them safe, some outdoor stone paver cutting/reinstallation from the stair expansion, addition of deck gate for our child, some indoor trim fixes, and and HVAC issue Cooper Mechanical provided an extremely high quote for (Zarza Inc saved us over $2k just on just the HVAC issue). After a week of the team being here and seeing their work, my wife and I were so impressed by the quality of their work we asked for additional fixes, which the team were able to fit into their busy schedule. Overall the team was here for just over 2 weeks, fixed every issue we had, and our experience was extremely positive. Bill was also able to recommend a local lumber store (Tinsman Brothers) where my dad and I purchased some lumber for an additional job we wanted to tackle ourselves. My wife and I are already planning to hire Bill and his team next year to install a steel roof on our porch overhang to match our shed, replace our basement carpet with vinyl flooring, and update our kitchen. There won't be any need for us to shop around for quotes, because we'll be calling Zarza, Inc for all our home repair and updating needs. Once again, big thanks to the entire team at Zarza Inc!"
"These guys were simply awesome. I called them in a panic cause I had 1 day before moving into my new house and needed help. They were there the very next day to hang blinds, and put together a few things I needed. It was a life saver for me and my husband to have a few less projects off our plate. They were respectful of my home and explained ever detail. I will definitely call them again and highly recommend them. I'm a very happy customer!"
"They did a great job. The geometry was rather challenging, lots of oblique angles, nooks and crannies, and the absence of rectilinearity common to old homes, but they made everything fit nicely, joints were tight, and the spackling was very neat and carefully done. They provided a great product."
"AWESOME!!! They very friendly and very PROFESSIONAL. They complied with all my needs and still were very friendly after I made multiple color changes and new ideas up to the day before they started, I had them install a new roof, siding, gutters, front door, plus storm door and new windows (that had to be reframed do to size change that I wanted ) I would recommend them to anyone pricing was better then 3 other companies that I had come to my home."
"Overall, I found JJ's quote the most affordable and they stayed on budget at the end of the day. They were also able to accommodate the start of the project in weeks as opposed to month(s). I consider John and Nick honest professionals and I would go back to them again for other work. All the work turned out good and visually acceptable. This is a general comment about other contractors as well as a specific comment for JJ: As someone who isn't as home repair savvy, I appreciate knowing how a job is going, if there are any issues or what the challenges may be in advance. I think maybe John is a man of few words, but I didn't get that much from him without probing and I don't always know if I'm asking the right questions. As a home owner, I want to make sure that I'm making the right long term decisions for my house. If I ask for work on job X, but it could actually be less expensive in the long run if a bigger job Y was performed. Maybe job Y is more expensive and I'm not willing to do it, but I would like to know what job Y is... maybe job X will only be good for a couple years and I'll have to do job Y in the future to sell the house anyway. That kind of thinking is something that I'd appreciate when someone is working on my house. "
The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

Painting countertops can take a few days to complete yourself. However, keep in mind that it can take up to 14 days for the sealer to cure. So, you want to make sure you wait the manufacturer's recommended amount of time before using your countertops after painting them.
When designing an attached greenhouse, several factors should be considered. These include the orientation and positioning of the greenhouse to maximize sunlight exposure, the structural integrity of the connection to the house, sufficient insulation to regulate temperature, proper ventilation for airflow, and adequate space for plants and pathways. If you’re restricted because of your budget, go with a simpler design to maximize the use of your money.
One handy thing about whole-house dehumidifiers is, once installed, you don’t have to worry about placement or changing the dehumidifier’s position. But if you are using a portable dehumidifier, we suggest keeping it away from walls, vents, and furniture. It needs a central, unobstructed spot with access to lots of air to do its job.
