The Perfect Roofing & Siding Co. is a good company to call upon for people who may have an old slate roof, such as I did, or for people with flat roofs, both conditions for which it is difficult to find reliable, experienced roofing help. I am a Sr. Citizen with a disability. I live alone, without help, so it is not exactly a comfortable experience asking a stranger to come examine my home or give me an estimate on a needed repair. So, when Mr. Carlo Marotta, Marketing Director, came to my house to discuss my roof, and to give me an estimate, he was a professional, nonjudgmental, kind gentleman, whom I found to be extremely helpful in every way. He was very happy to promote Ramses and his crew to come and give me an excellent job. He also helped me obtain the loan/financing, after understanding my limitations. As soon as he discerned a problem, he was on the phone, finding me help. Mr. Carlo Marotta demonstrated exquisite patience in explaining things, given my total lack of knowledge about this industry. He also offered to find me help in dealing with an issue inside my house after the dormer leaked and the ceiling was destroyed going up to my attic. I will always remember his kindness in this regard, given the awful state of my house inside. I feel I can always rely on him for help or advice in the future as well, since there is a 50-year guarantee on this new roof. In consideration of these details, I am happy to recommend Perfect Roofing & Siding to anyone who needs a new roof, including people with slate roofs, and/or flat roofs. After living in a house with a century-old slate roof, I am now relieved to finally have a new roof, and my home is now protected for the next half century.

Installing a new roof is an important decision, and I am thrilled that I had the opportunity to work with Carlo, Jim, and the crew from Perfect Siding and Roofing. Jim was transparent and very knowledgeable in providing product information and recommendations for my home (100+ y/o with a slate roof). The crew was OUTSTANDING! The guys were on time, pleasant, and worked through the most horrific weather we had ever seen. They worked on my roof during the May storms. Carlo was awesome came to the house showed us samples and explained the warranty and what all the crew will do and clean up. We loved there work this is the second roof they done for us. It was great from start to finish. Carlo met with us and he was wonderful, professional, and so friendly. He gave us great pricing. The roof was removed and replaced in one day and by how clean they worked, you would have never known they were even at the property. We had Perfect Roofing and Siding replace a roof on our shed a few years back, and was perfect then, also.

We were initially impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the sales staff. The job, was to repair part of our roof, make and install several gutters. However, the crew did not arrive as quickly as was implied and barely spoke english. (this made it hard, nearly impossible, to communicate). The workers, asked if they could use our bender machine, which was fine with us, since they did not have one. They worked that first day (10/31) then didn’t return for a month. We were told, this was because the gutter machine was broke. Again, the job was to make and install gutters. In the meantime, they left our roof partially exposed to weather, left two stacks of loose shingles on the roof, a rope hanging off the peak of the roof and didn’t even re-cover our equipment they used. (All of this was left like this for a whole month, exposed to the weather) in addition my husband had to go to the store and purchase supplies they didn’t have. After several phone calls and weeks passed they finally came back and completed the job to my husband’s satisfaction. The worst part was we couldn’t communicate with the workers on site, the best part was the lady in their office, Kathy, did go out of her way to help resolve our issues. She was great

Review of Perfect Roof Working with Perfect Roofing and Siding for our urgent roof replacement was efficient, cost competitive, of high quality, and beyond all, pleasant. Below is a summary of our experiences from start to finish: Angi Bid Request - Betsy, the company administrator was kind, courteous and respectful. She provided me an appt with a job evaluator the next day within 5 minutes of submitting my Angi request. Job Evaluation - Jim, the job evaluator, was familiar with the area and very respectful towards my family and our home. He provided a thorough overview of the Perfect roof replacement process highlighting quality of work and longevity of the material used and installation. His no-haggle sales discussion was much appreciated. Job Agreement - Carlo, the marketing director, was also kind, professional and respectful. He was very accommodating by being willing to urgently reschedule his visit due to medical issues in the family. He was able to confirm details of our installation, finalize the contracts for the job and provide us with an early timeline for our job’s completion. Roof Removal and Replacement - the installation crew arrived close to the 0800 start and immediately began preparing to work. Within 15 mins tarps were spread across our property to catch the debris from the roof removal. The roof was stripped down to the decking, damaged decking boards were repaired or replaced, and a thorough cleaning of the prepared decking was completed by 1100. The new synthetic sheathing and ice guard were installed and the shingles followed shortly after; all debris was removed from our property and taken away in a dumpster that was timed perfectly in both arrival and departure. By 1500 the roof was essentially complete along with the clean up afterwards. By 1530 the entire crew, dumpster were gone, the only indication that someone was working on our house was the new roof and the advertisement sign I agreed to be placed in the yard. Job Completion - time will be the ultimate test for the longevity of this roof. However, the Perfect team seemed committed to giving it its best chance at outliving its 50 year warranty. In every interaction with Betsy, Jim, Carlo, and Ramses (the company founder), experience was apparent. After inspecting the roof first hand I can attest to the quality of the materials used and the attention to detail in the work of the crew. Am looking forward for the sun to set the roof over the next few days so we can once again have a leak and worry free roof. Final thoughts: As an engineer, a quality product and proper installation was paramount for our home’s roof. After discussing our needs with several other contractors, it was clear that Perfect Roofing offered the best product in terms of quality of materials used and quality of installation. This was proved true following installation. Further, duration from first call to job completion took less than one week, which was fantastic considering the active leak we had. Lastly, having a 50 year transferable warranty provides tremendous peace of mind regardless of our family’s plans to stay in this house for a lifetime or sell next year. Overall, the roof replacement was an investment worth making and I am glad we chose Perfect to replace our roof. I’m a mechanical engineer, and I chose Perfect Roof for my home roof replacement. My wife and I interviewed four other roofing companies before selecting Perfect Roof, and we had a great experience. Carlo from Perfect Roof provided a confident and pragmatic overview of the entire process including company history, safety, materials, people, processes, and warranty. As an engineer, I wanted to select the best materials and processes, and Perfect Roof uses a system of CertainTeed materials that are all designed to work together for an engineered solution. We verified the specified materials met quality standards, and were recognized by national specifications and tests for wind, tear, pull through, and granule adhesion. Using materials that meet such accepted standards, correlates with extended roof life when installed correctly. In addition to the quality of materials, the CertainTeed brand is a division of Saint Gobain which is well known in the engineering world for producing high quality materials used in high reliability products. When the actual materials arrived at the jobsite, everything was exactly as specified and designed to work together as a system. The crews arrived for work each day and were respectful of our property and privacy. Safe roof access was established, and the crew used ropes and harnesses to navigate the multiple roof pitches, dormers, on the house and external garage for removal and installation. The Perfect Roof team performed a thorough evaluation of our roof condition once the old roof was removed, and we were given the opportunity to also assess for damage. We observed slight damage that agreed with the Perfect Roof crew, and they proactively planned to repair the damaged areas. This amounted to a few sheets of underlayment that needed to be replaced, and there was no extra cost. After spending some time observing the shingle installation process, it was apparent that the crew performs like a high functioning team: well defined roles, helping each other, trust working together, and everyone contributing. It was positive experience working with Carlo, the crew, and the entire team from Perfect Roof.

Perfect Roofing and Siding is correctly named. We checked with four businesses, all established, for quotes. While all were in the same general price range, we went with Perfect as we had seen them do an excellent job on a neighbor's house a year ago. As we compared bids, we found that the shingles were basically the same, based upon internet search result. The prices were comparable, so workmanship is the deciding factor. Carlo was our salesperson, he painted a "rosy" picture with many assurances (what sales person doesn't?), but it turned out to all be true. There is flashing where the previous two roofs had none. Our roof pattern is gambrel with four dormers, so there are a number of challenges and all were met perfectly. Cut lines are clear and precise. Nails, previously exposed, were covered with flashing. "Sins" from a Hardie Board install 10 years ago by a different contractor were fixed. The crew was thorough. They worked clean, there were no surprises. Little things were put back as they were prior to the start of the job. For example, we have a string of Party Lights that edge our patio and are attached to the house, they were disconnected for the job and could have been easily left on the ground, unattached, but no, they were re attached as before without having to point them out. Final payment was not requested until I told Ramses, the owner, that the job was done. I could not have been more pleased. Every assurance made by Carlo was met or exceeded. If you are looking for an installer that can be trusted to do the job and do it well, Perfect Roofing & Siding is your choice.

Received a few quotes from companies that gave a quick look and quote. Carlo from Perfect Roofing & Siding provided an in depth presentation. including the process, quality of materials used, and a warranty that far surpassed everyone else. As we already had a leak, wanting to get this done ASAP, their hard working crew was able to come out the very next day and quickly completed the job, which also included gutters and fixed two spots of siding. Result is one fantastic looking roof.

After extensive research in finding a roofing contractor to repair and replace our roof, we chose Perfect Roofing and Siding. The sales rep, Carlo, was very informative and explained all the steps involved with the project. Our biggest concern was the fact that part of our roof is a large flat roof over the front porch, which several other contractors were reluctant to deal with. Perfect Roofing had no issue dealing with the situation. We ultimately ended up going with their proposal because of the confidence Carlo projected and we felt assured that the job would be done correctly, professionally and with consideration for all the extensive landscaping around the house. We were in awe of the fact that they showed up so quickly, as promised, and the job was basically done the first day with a small crew to finish up detail work on the second day, keeping in mind we have a very large and complex roof layout. In the course of roof replacement, they discovered a large area of rotted underlayment, which they replaced as part of the agreement. Needless to say, that was a relief to have discovered since we had no idea it was an issue. They handled the job like the true professionals they are. From the moment we met Carlo, we knew Perfect Roofing was the company for us for our roofing project. Our house had been undergoing renovation, so we have vast experience with the multitude of issues that can be encountered when working with contractors.
