"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. "I will start off with the initial dealing with MHI Roofing in Bethel Park PA. Our Condo Community had all the roofs on 6 buildings of total 39 units re shingled in June of 2024 to the tune of nearly $140,000. They were fast and efficient. However, a few weeks down the road we had some issues with items that should have been done as requested. Called the Site Supervisor, Cam Kinnee, submitted the service request, and it took over a month to get this service done and completed. A few weeks later, we had heavy winds and a flue cap blow off, mind you, these flue caps were original from 1974 and were in horrible shape. They should have been replaced, but MHI just painted the old ones. So, I contact Cam Kinnee again, he schedules service, this took another month to get this taken care of, or so I thought. Fast forward to January 2025, some winds blew another flue cap off, I contacted Cam Kinnee once more, he was unable to do anything, as he was in a training class. During my wait for him to return my message from Jan 22, 2025 to Feb 3, 2025. Still not service on the first flue cap by the way!... March 11, 2025 another flue cap on another unit had blown off. I contacted Cam once again, he said he would let his office know. I get a response from Cam informing me that he no longer works for MHI Roofing. Since then I have called MHI numbers about 20 times at MHI Office in Mt Lebanon, I have left messages, no returned calls, no one answers the phone... I am so frustrated with MHI. If you plan to use this company... Please reconsider... Once they have your money they do not service their work! Very disappointed! BEWARE OF MHI!!"

"Clarke Phillips runs a very professional operation. He was very up-front and honest about the scope of work, the cost, and the timeframes. He called me every couple of weeks re: how many jobs were ahead of mine, and any change to my anticipated start date. His crew boss was amazing--he and his team rebuilt my chimney in the midst of terrible February snow, wind and ice. They never missed a day at my house, and worked in all kinds of weather. The job was done well, and completed on time. Clarke isn't cheap, but delivers good value for money. Highly recommend."

"I could not be more pleased with the service Jeremy provided. He was on time, professional, and explained everything in detail and what the next step would be to correct the problem. I wasted so many years avoiding what I thought would be an expensive and lengthy process only to have my issue resolved within an hour at a very fair price. Once that problem was resolved he returned in a few days to install my new vanity and toilet. He also installed new shut off valves for the toilet and the sink as well as a new bathroom faucet. All that was left for me was to enjoy the luxuries I had been without for so long. He even fixed the faucet in my garage that had been leaking from day one. "They diagnosed the problem over the phone, without even so much as taking a look at my bathroom. They showed up the next day, did something in the bathroom for about an hour and charged me $185. The leak hasn't been fixed. One of the plumbers also recored my living room without my consent or knowledge. That's a criminal violation of my privacy, and if there was any audio recorded, that bumps it up to a third degree felony. I only dicovered this because he decided to do it right in front of my Blink vide doorbell and got himself recorded doing it.
