"Jose with Green Yard was so easy to work with and he and his crew did a good job executing my vision. They did such a nice job with my first project, that I called them back for a 2nd. I would recommend them and use them again."

"We loved working with this family team. We had new flooring, painting and baseboards/trim replaced and repainted in our entry, kitchen, living, dining and laundry room. The team worked hard to meet our expectations, needs and wants. We are very happy with the outcome of this project. The rooms look good and the flooring looks great. We look forward to working with them again on our next project."

"Shannon and Dawna are exceptional people. They made every effort possible to obtain the results asked of them. No project was too small nor too big for them to consider. Even the seemingly impossible issues were resolved. I will definitely call on them whenever I am in need of help and highly recommend them to friends, family, and any who are in the need of multiple projects done by one company."

"They yard looked wonderful. I also hired them to do the weekly maintenance and am quite pleased. They seem to pay attention to detail and respond quickly to my requests. Our yards have never looked better. BTW - I have had other yard crews in the past who did not do near as nice of work as Gabriel's, including the one who was doing the yard work when I called Gabriel's."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.

For many people, a gazebo is worth it, but it’s a matter of personal preference. If you love spending time outside but your yard doesn’t offer much protection from the sun or rain, then adding a gazebo might be worthwhile. Or, if you enjoy hosting dinner parties and want a nice outdoor space to gather with your friends, a gazebo could be a good investment.

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:

  • Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.

  • Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.

  • Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.

  • Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.
