"Our house really needed a deep clean. Spring Cleaning Services did a great job and took care of everything. Their work is so thorough and professional. Everything looked brand new when they were done -- the floors, the kitchen and bathrooms, even the upholstered chairs and couch. I will definitely call them again. Thank you Brenda and Paty."

"the first time Jackie cleaned for us was for a thorough cleaning of a 3 bedroom 3 bathe two-level condo--complete with soffits full of "stuff" and bookcases full of books. It took her amazing crew the large part of 2 days!!! It was amazing--windows , oven, everything we could have wanted done and then some. Would we recommend her???? YUP😊 She now comes once a month and faithfully connects with us prior to each visit. Plus we love her flat rate charges."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You should consider doing a few things on your own that fall under the category of “good house cleaner etiquette” to prepare for your house cleaner. These include tidying counters, floors, and other surfaces, taking care of the dishes, moving laundry to the laundry room or a dedicated laundry basket, and putting away personal and private items. Think of your house cleaner as someone who brings your home from relatively tidy to organized and clean, and you should have no issues.

You should clean the ashes from your wood stove at least once a week during the heating season to maintain efficiency and safety. Additionally, it's crucial to have a professional clean the chimney and flue annually to remove creosote buildup, which can pose a fire hazard and affect the stove's performance. Regular cleaning ensures optimal operation and reduces the risk of harmful emissions.

Those switching from an electric stove to a gas stove may lament the loss of its self-cleaning feature. Don’t worry though, you can clean your oven in a few easy steps with some oven cleaner and scrubbing. Bake up a batch of celebratory sugar cookies when you’re finished.

You can use baking soda to start getting the urine odor out of your mattress. Baking soda is highly absorbent and soaks up odors, so it will not only draw the urine out of your mattress but it can also get to work fighting the lingering smell. You can also use an enzymatic cleaner to break down the urine to make it easier to clean. Just keep in mind that you need to remove enzymatic cleaners from the mattress after use, as leaving them on could be dangerous.

Yes, using an oven cleaner is a great alternative for cleaning your stovetop. Remove any grates and then spray the surface down. Allow the cleaner to sit for about 20 minutes, and then scrub it clean with a damp non-abrasive sponge. Dry and polish it off using a dry microfiber towel, and you’re done.
