He is a great communicator, and kept me updated on everything, even when I had to be out of town. Perhaps most importantly, he has excellent relationship with his subcontractors, who provided uniformly high quality work and responded quickly to his scheduling needs. Having built my house a couple of decades ago using someone who had good reviews but only average communication skills, I promise that you will have a much, much better experience if you use the Village Builder. "Had these guys put on a new roof. Roof leaked, toxic black mold where it’s leaked with ceiling damage in one of our bedrooms. Been 3 weeks since they came out to survey the damage. They’ve told me they subbed out the roof to someone else when they did it and they’ve let the other company know. I've inquired a few times and they keep telling me they reached out to the other company to let them know. Basically passed us off and we’re up a creek with toxic black mold."
