We have certified service professionals, certified building professionals, certified surface technicians and we are the exclusive installation company for Pebbletec pool surfaces. We also offer service, installation and replacement or repair of manufactured vinyl liner systems.

"After spending a lot of time hearing about their big projects and getting the feeling that they really didn't want to resurface our pool even though they said that they would before they decided to transition to solely commercial work, we asked that they do it (our mistake - if you have to beg don't hire, but they built the original pool and it looked great). When they were finished there were white blotches all over the finish, orange marks. They had the audacity to tell us that it would look great in 10 years. ???? We had them drain the pool and fix the blotches. But when we got into it last summer it was incredibly rough. While we did not choose a smooth finish what we got was so rough that almost everyone who actually plays in the pool gets scraped and bathing suits pill from just sitting on the steps. Nothing like young kids crying because they got scraped by the side of the pool. We are talking bloody scrapes. It was also crumbling in a few spots. Two years later we are doing it all over again at our expense. Cannot begin to convey how disappointed we are."

24 years of experience

Non-invasive. Our slogan says it best “Leak Detection Without Destruction.” We are the world leader in the accurate, non-destructive detection of all types of leaks including hidden water and sewer leaks. Experience and Resources. We’re The Original Leak Specialist with more than 35 years of experience, state-of-the-art equipment, and ongoing research and development for new leak detection technology and techniques. Save Money. Our non-invasive methods assure a timely and economical outcome and ensure that damage to property is eliminated or reduced. Upfront Pricing. We find our customers prefer an accurate price based on us accurately inspecting the situation and making recommendations. Many service companies will quote any price over the phone because they know people may be shopping for the lowest price. Therefore, many phone quotes are inaccurate and change after a technician sees the job. We feel this method is not fair to customers. After speaking with our office, you will know up-front what your cost will be to detect the leak. In the unfortunate event that you experience a leak problem, it can be critical to both your budget and long-term property value that you take the right steps to solve your problem. Don’t pay excessive charges or incur property damage that results from having the wrong people on the job. The bottom line is that we prevent property damage and save you money. Put your trust in the world’s leader in accurate, non-destructive leak detection. Don’t wait until it’s too late . . . if you think you might have a leak, a call to American Leak Detection is the best move you can make!

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

You’ll know you need to replace the pump in your hot tub if you hear loud or unusual noises when the machine is running or notice a significant decrease in water pressure. A leak or altogether failure of the hot tub may also indicate a problem with the pump, but you’ll need a professional to investigate the source of the issue.

A compact unit designed for two to three people typically weighs approximately 500 pounds in its empty state. On the other hand, a larger hot tub meant for up to six people can weigh around 1,000 pounds when empty. Materials used also impact weight. Less expensive hot tubs are typically lighter because they are made of molded plastic or fiberglass.

If water is left inside the hot tub pump over a cold winter, it could freeze and severely damage the pump, water lines, and jets. That can cause leaks, which require very expensive repairs. Freezing or leftover water can stain and damage the hot tub shell, which leads to replacement. Even in mild climates, leaving sitting water in the tub or pipes for a long period of unuse is a bad idea, since disinfecting chemicals fade and the water can develop bacteria, algae, and other big headaches when it’s time to use the tub again.

Hot tub repairs cost between $200 and $500 on average. You can minimize those costs by maintaining your hot tub and keeping necessary supplies on hand. An elevated shelf in the garage is a great place to store your water care chemicals so that kids and pets will stay safe and you’ll always have them around.

Your hot tub should be drained of existing water, cleaned, and refilled every three to four months at a minimum. Follow your tub manufacturer’s recommendations for cleaning, and rinse thoroughly when finished to eliminate any residue from the cleaning products. This is also a good time to inspect your tub’s cover in good lighting for any leaks, tears, or other damage that might cause problems.

Using your hot tub manufacturer’s suggested cleaners and methods, keep your hot tub filters clean to avoid a loss of water heat. This will help extend the filter’s useful life and efficiency. If the filter is more than two to three years old, replace it with a new one and buy a second filter to keep around as a spare.

How often you change the water in your swim spa depends on how often you use it. Most manufacturers recommend changing the water every three to six months. If you use your swim spa throughout the seasons, it’s a good idea to set up a quarterly deep cleaning schedule. The ideal instructions should be in the owner’s manual.
