I was highly impressed by the knowledge and service of the Spa Doctor. My spa had quit heating altogether. Todd worked me in on short notice and showed promptly at that time he said he would. He was very knowledgeable about spas and diagnosed my issue in under 10 minutes. I was fairly certain that I would have to replace the entire heater-as it is a very old spa-but Todd isolated the problem component and had parts on hand to fix it. Likewise he was able to epoxy up my two leaking pipes, saving me the effort of replumbing the spa.
After a few days it was heating but not over 90 degrees. I called the Spa Doctor and again he was very responsive. Over the phone he gave me his theory for why I was having this issue and set up to come out the next day to verify. True to his word he showed up and adjusted the heater switch and now the spa is working perfectly. The second visit was included under the warranty of his earlier work. I liked that he was clear about that, stood behind his work, and did not hit me up for an additional charge as some have tried in the past.

I have used The Spa Doctor before, but that was before I became a member of Angie's List. This recent call was more involved and a better assessment of The Spa Doctor than my other experiences, which have all been positive. This one started with coming home from work late and wanting to soak away the pains of work. Luckily I put my hand in first...chilling!! So, a quick call to get a message to the Spa Doctor.. This was at 11pm. Surprise, a human (Todd) answered!!! Told him my problems and he set up an appointment. He arrived at the date and time specified and made his inspection with my wife, He diagnosed a burnt out heater coil in my 25 year old Sundance spa. My wife inquired as to the cost/benefits to repair or replace. Todd said that since I was such a hot tub guy (as indicated by my 11pm call) said that fixing the heating coil was probably best since the tub was in remarkably good condition for being 25 years old. He did need to order parts which took a week, but when they arrived, he again appeared at the agreed upon time and replaced the heater which also needed another trip back to his shop (20 minutes each way) for some additional parts to remove a banging sound from the heater. All was completed at the agreed upon price and was cheaper than I would have imagined for the work and time that this took. Todd is a great technician and took the time to do the job right. I will never hesitate to call him again for any work needed on this old spa and for his recommendation for a replacement spa, when the time comes.

The cover was delivered and placed on the spa. The old cover was removed and taken care of.

The spa finally died. He took the spa away for us. He has recommended a few places to buy the spa from. He has also told us in case we buy the spa from a well known wholesale store they will deliver the spa but they wouldn’t install it. So when that happens he has informed us to give him a call so they would come out quickly and install it. He is absolutely Johnny-on-the-spot. If I call him he comes out the same day or the next day or within the next few days. He is very congenial. I have recommended him to many people. It is fun to see him whenever we need him. It’s nice to catch up with him.

They did not show up for the scheduled appointment then were rude when I called for an explanation. My hard lid broke and they recommended drilling support. One day later my tub began leaking and stops at the level of the bolt they drilled. They denied responsibility, stated they would drop off product to place in water to help stop leak and then never showed up. I would strongly discourage you from using this company.

Awesome! Quoted me an approximate price over the phone, brought the parts with to the service call and fixed the whole problem in 45 minutes. He only added some additional wiring and it was only 15 bucks. Very helpful on the phone.

Terrible experience - I felt like I was being extorted. Would never hire or recommend this company. He is not an authorized service company as he says he is.

IT WAS GOOD. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING WHEN THEY WERE WORKING ON MY SPA. THE PLACE WHERE I BOUGHT THE SPA TOLD ME TO CALL THEM. IT WAS A YOUNG FELLOW AND HE WAS A VERY NICE PERSON. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT HE WAS DOING AND HE WAS VERY PATIENT. HE KNEW WHAT I WAS ASKING, WHAT I NEEDED TO HAVE DONE, AND HE KNEW HOW TO FIX IT.
