"Couldn't be happier with the work I & Son's performed. We had a tight timeline for some not minor remodel work and they made it happen. Irving and his partner were very professional, thorough, and accommodating. Would definitely hire again."

"Great husband and wife team, very nice people. They completed the work per the estimate. The only thing not up to my expectations was their follow through in getting back to me. First with the estimate, which came 2 days after I was told I would have it. and after the work on my sliding door was finished, they were supposed to get back to me on whether or not they could find new wheels for the door. They said I should hear the next day, it's been over a month and I never heard back from them."

Customers say: Quick response

"Trevor was very professional and timely. He went above and beyond to make sure my house was prepped, painted, cleaned up and put back together in better shape than he found it. I had the exterior of my house painted along with my living room, bedroom, and master bathroom. We even had him stain our fence in the backyard (which we didn't want to do ourselves) and he was so great about adding that service last minute. I didn't even know he was here! The whole time he was very respectful and patient with our needs and changing our minds. I would definitely hire him back for more painting projects!"

Kitchen Cabinet Refacing questions, answered by experts

Ensuring longevity involves using high-quality materials, carefully maintaining veneer surfaces, promptly repairing scratches or imperfections, and cleaning using appropriate solutions.

Whether to reface or paint comes down to personal preference. Refacing strikes a convenient balance between being more affordable than replacing cabinets and longer-lasting than painting them. Furthermore, it allows homeowners to completely change the aesthetic of their cabinets and still paint them if they choose to. If money was no object, refacing is the better option. However, it’s more expensive and time-consuming than painting. Painting remains an effective way to revamp your cabinets, both in look and longevity, without spending a ton of money.

Yes, cabinet makers continue to fabricate custom kitchen and other household cabinets for new construction homes. Cabinet makers also replace and renovate existing kitchen cabinets. The cost tends to be higher than choosing manufactured cabinets from a major retailer, but you get the cabinets specially designed and made to fit the unique needs of your space.

You can add glass to your existing kitchen cabinet doors with a few tools and some patience. We recommend following the DIY steps listed above, which include cutting a panel for the glass, cutting and adding the glass, and reattaching your cabinetry. If these steps seem too complicated or you’d rather have the peace of mind of a professional installation, hire a cabinet installation pro to handle this project for you.

DIY refacing is possible if you're skilled in precise measurements, cutting, and finishing, but hiring professionals ensures a seamless finish and durable results.
