"First off, this wasn't even a client from the Angi platform. Secondly, this was a matter of the client canceling the services. As stated in my contract, if there are any scheduling conflicts, my company reserves the right to complete the work within the next available timeframe. Also stated in my contract is that if the client cancels the project for any reason, I reserve the right to retain 25 percent of the deposit. I, in good faith, tried to reason with him to let us finish the project, and I even returned the full deposit minus the materials purchased already for the job and the fuel to get there. I even left all materials on site for him to keep, but he became unruly and vindictive. He began to get on all of my working platforms and started to defame my name and company. I repeatedly told him to refer to the contract that he had signed. He informed me that he was going to destroy my company. So, as a result, I've had to resort to legal advice. Once again, I repeatedly tried to make this situation good for him, but he refused."
"Please understand that in no way we are people who would do the indignity of bidding a price without putting thought or reason behind it. Please allow a moment of explanation. We are general contractors who have many years of diverse knowledge and an enormous range of capabilities, education, and certifications in both residential and commercial applications; from welding (MIG, TIG, ARC), to framing, concrete/masonry, general construction, carpentry, custom cabinetry, floors doors & windows, painting, or home restoration, there is nothing our team hasn't done or cannot do. The embelishments to your comments werent necessary, as our bid did in fact contain all materials for the project (less your provided gates) and included the extra time to get through the 2 feet of packed gravel where each of the 14 posts were to be set. We are in no way trying to insult anyone with a single one of our bids. I'm sorry you felt that was my intention, but our expertise, education, and experience do come with a price. Our quality of service, quality of product, and dedication to our customers keep us busy year-round, and we have had many, many thrilled customers over these last couple of years to prove it. We truly thank you for the opportunity to bid your project, and wish you the best."
"[Member Name Removed] has been a great guy to work with these last couple projects. Concise, thorough planning of his projects, combined with on-time follow through has made all the pieces fall into place when they were supposed to. Thank you [Member Name Removed] for allowing us into your home and trusting us to get the work done. And many thanks to "Grandma", she is extremely kind and we were very fortunate to have gotten to meet her and help her with her home."
"As a fellow artist, it was fun to be able to add to another artists studio. The skylight added so much and your track light fit in perfectly. Thank you for allowing us to add this great addition to your home. We look forward to coming back and working with you again!"
"This family has been so good to work for this last year. From repairing their ADU, to fixing their garage door and eventually just putting up a wall in its place, these folks have been the easiest and sweetest people to help with their home projects. We look forward to helping you with many more home repairs in the future! Thanks again and see you soon to put that new floor in!"
"Another great home remodel project done for [Member Name Removed]! We loved getting a chance to help her out again, and the (Dill) kitchen cabinets turned out great! Thank you again for allowing us into your home and trusting us to get the job done. We'll see you soon for the kitchen floor!"
"We have been blessed many times before with work awarded to us from wonderful people, but none like these two. To say this home wasn't a challenge, would be an understatement. Laura and Bruce have been amazing to work with, understanding and kind. Getting hugs and fresh home made pumpkin pie has to be the greatest reward at the end of any project. Many, many warm thanks to "Mr&Mrs Claus" for bringing us into their home."
"To our valued clients, We appreciate all feedback, and the details of our work to be shared with our client base; good or bad. We could not improve without it. Although negative, we thank these clients for their feedback. As with all stories, there are two sides. We would encourage all of our potential future and repeat clients to inquire about this project, as honesty and integrity are of the upmost importance to us and our company. We are licensed, bonded, & insured, and hold our employees to the highest of integrity standards. The Reichmans unfounded accusations of our team's conduct, mischaracterization of conversations and events, and lack of trust in our intentions as contractors, forced us to make the difficult decision to cut ties, and not return to work for them. We built our company doing home repairs, and we enjoyed doing the repairs for the Reichmans. We apologized for the project ending point not being clearly understood and for both parties being left feeling taken advantage of. This was not our intention, as I'm sure it was not theirs. Ever since this communication breakdown, (138+ satisfied home and business owners later), we have applied a new standard to our business communication practices. Some of which include detailed contracts to specify expectations and avoid misunderstandings. Timelines in multi-stage projects to detail each step in the construction process and help encourage our clients to monitor job progress. Also, contingency plans pre-written and pre-agreed upon in case of un-foreseen issues that always shadow home repair/remodel projects. Looking at our extensive list of 5-star reviews, you can see we take our client satisfaction very seriously. You are what make our company happen, and we will always work to improve ourselves, and our services."
"No other clients have shown our team such gracious hospitality as these folks. They had fresh baked goods waiting for us, next to the coffee station they had freshly stocked each chilly morning for our guys. We were so thankful for these folks and their hospitality. We had a great time building their wall. Job story to be posted soon!"
"Very kind of you to send such a glowing review! We made sure to tell our techs Ty and Cody that you thought so much of them as to tell us personally of your experience. We are truly blessed to have these two talented and friendly guys working with us. Thank you again. ?"
"Thank you for your feedback! Though disappointed we are not a 5 star review, we will review your critique as a chance to improve. We must apologize for not being able to cancel other client appointments to serve your needs, as well as the considerations we spoke about for our employee health and safety. We do not require our teams to work in cold, wet conditions, and the jobs we declined were based on this policy. We strive for great client interactions and it looks like we missed the mark. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve you."
"Thank you so much [Member Name Removed]! We enjoyed all the time chatting with you and I'm so glad we could help get those repairs done. Thank you again for the kind words. :-)"
"Thanks for the stars [Member Name Removed]!! We appreciate the opportunity to help each and everyone of our clients. Jobs big or small, give us a call"

"[Member Name Removed]was our first, and still favorite, customer. We owe her for the confidence she gave us, as well as inspired in us. A true class act."
