FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. Vents may blow air even though the air conditioning system is off because of the pressure difference between indoor and outdoor air or drafts from leaky ducts. Check for leaks or drafts in the ductwork or around windows and doors.

You can buy R-22 refrigerant for your home air-conditioning system through your local AC repair specialist, who can also refill your R-22 system as needed. You may find that the cost of R-22 has gone up due to shortages as the EPA banned this refrigerant. Ask your pro to inspect your system for any leaks or issues.

If your AC refrigerant is low, you may notice that the unit takes longer than usual to cool your home or that your energy bills are higher. You may even feel a warm breeze coming from the vents when the AC refrigerant is low. Don’t attempt to check refrigerant levels yourself.
