Their entire crew from initial quote, to office staff and the team that came out to remove our tree were all amazing. Would definitely work with them again.

We have a beautiful large cherry tree that needed some TLC. When they came to give an estimate, it was quick and professional and subsequently when the guys showed up to do the work, they were also timely and professional. I appreciated that the head tree guy, before they started, asked me what I was looking for and double checked what he was thinking. Before they left he had me come out to double check and make sure it was trimmed it to my liking. They did a fantastic job shaping the tree! I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful blossoms in the spring. The only complaint I have is it took a few weeks to get a call to get on the schedule.

Josh and his crew arrived early, which was actually great. His four man crew walked all the houses since there were 3 of us having work done. They were extremely aware of the landscaping in our yard as we have a large collection of Japanese Maples, and was sure to keep them safe. The crew cleaned as they went and Josh was great in explaining what he was doing and if there were any questions. I will use them for any tree service needed and highly recommend them to anyone who needs tree work done.

The crew that did the work (Kris, Justin, Robin, and Gary) were professional and very experienced. They arrived on time and used their skills to complete the job within about 5-6 hours. They also did an great service to me by insuring that the remaining wood was cut into movable pieces and placed nicely in one location. Kris was very skilled while climbing the Fir and the maple and was able to fall large branches without doing any damage to my fence line or deck. They spoke with me about the health of the maple and offered advise on how to accomplish the job while maintaining the integrity of the fine old Maple. Joe came out twice and was kind and helpful both times. It was a pleasure to work with him. His crew was knowledgable and did what Joe and I had agreed to. They shared their point of view and listened to mine. My trees look great. I will use them again next year.

Crew came a day late. They did a good job cutting the trees, which were in a difficult position. The first tree they cleaned up really well. The second one they left a lot of debris, which we ended up having to clean up ourselves. On the whole, we were satisfied with the job. The quote they gave us was very good (compared to the three other quotes we received) and the work was done in a professional manner.

Robin, Chris, and Mel did a stellar job on both trees. My husband and I are very pleased and heartily recommend this tree service to others. We definitely plan to call Joe Grab Landscape and Tree Service to work on our trees in the future. Thank you all.

A tree close to my house had grown through a fence and was beginning to rot. Joe Grab was extremely response in initial communications, came to my residence and examined the tree. They worked very quickly and safely fell the tree. Cleaned up above and beyond what I'd expect.

I contacted three companies and JG was the lowest price quote and most responsive.

I highly recommend them and will use them again.

This is a $199 big deal purchase.

I have a big evergreen hedge that is getting out of hand. I got bids from a few places and found that my hedge is too big to be cut by yard maintenance companies like in the past so I had to move up to the tree experts. The bids ranged from very expensive to kind of acceptable, then I got a flyer in my mail from Joe Grab so I had him do an estimate. He was below the lowest I had so far and he seemed to know what he was talking about so I hired him. For the price I paid and the shape of my hedge I think he and his crew did a very good job. There are a few places that are not exactly straight but that was because of things that got in the way of the ladders. Plus it is a living hedge, so the spring growth will fill in those spots quickly enough. Joe was very concerned about how deep they cut because he wanted it to look nice and I appreciate his caring. It was a very cold day and his crew hung out doing this and that until I was satisfied and I thank them for that. They were nice and knew what they were doing. My opinion is that they did a good job and I will hire them again in the future.

The guys showed up on time at 9:am and asked me what my expectations were for trimming the curly willow in the front yard. I let them know and they got to work. I had to ask them to trim some branches back because they were hanging out on the side walk and the main road. At that moment, Mike (one of the guys) lost his temper. I am not sure what triggered it. So I called Clese (the one who gave me the estimate). Clese apologized for Mike and spoke to him after which they packed up and left for the day. There was one more tree left to prune and the plum tree in the backyard looked like it was hacked instead of trimmed. The same evening, Joe Grab, owner of the company called and apologized for his guys' behavior. He came over on Monday to look at the job and promised to send two other guys to finish the remaining work. Trimming was finally finished to my satisfaction by Tuesday. Even though my willow tree did not get topped off (it was in the contract and I had wanted it reduced), I appreciate Joe's handling of the situation and making sure the other trees were pruned correctly. 

It worked out very well and I would definitely use them again.

Joes crew was great to work with. I appreciated their communication during the project. They arrived when they said they would and did the job as promised. I am going to hire them for another project in the future. I would recommend them

After some complications getting an estimate and getting scheduled, everything went smoothly. The workers were punctual, performed the work well, and cleaned up the yard. In particular, the person who came to grind the stump went above and beyond his nominal responsibilities by cleaning up not only any remaining mess from the removal work, but also by tidying up parts of the driveway and deck that had not been affected. He was extraordinarily polite and conscientious.

They had to come back and do some stuff because there was a miscommunication about what I thought I had bought, but it went pretty well. It was okay. It wasn't the greatest, but it was okay. The workers were fine. There were too many people here. I probably wouldn't use them in the future.
