"When I sent email on September 1 requesting an estimate and schedule for getting the exterior of my house painted, I expected to be put on their spring waitlist. Instead, I was super surprised to get a call back that Muir Painting was scheduling about 2-3 weeks out! Too good to be true? Not according to all the reviews I read. And they delivered! Great communication from Dan, the owner! He sent a guy over on Saturday to powerwash the house. A crew of 8 showed up the following Monday at 7am to scrape, tape, paint and clean up. They finished the whole house plus a shed by 4pm! We have a split level house with awkward eaves and 3rd story overhangs. This wasn't a simple, 1-story ranch! I asked them not to paint my downspouts or wood stove chimney pipe. They carefully taped everything off. The house looks great! They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. They didn't break anything or stomp all over the landscaping in the process. Highly recommend!"

Over the last 8 years we have had our cedar fence replaced, an IPE deck installed, new side fence and fence gate installed and new vertical skirting installed around our deck. "What a great experience it was to work with Chip and Dale Ironworks. I wanted a custom gate that reflected where I live. Randy was my first contact. He listened to my request and came up with a design I love. Once I made a decision, then it took a week to make and a day to install. I appreciate the high quality work that went into fabrication, parts used, and the installation of this gate. The next day, Jim ran the needed tests, checked the operation of the system, and explained how to operate the gate including any challenges that might arise. I am receiving many compliments for this gate from my neighbors and passerby’s. The operation is super quiet and smooth. "We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid, but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid."
