"Darin Chase and his son, Aaron, are awesome plumbers! They are quick, honest, very good, and reasonably priced. Four months ago, I had a new pump installed in my well. Unknown to me, the work installing the new pump stirred up my well a bit and pulled some sand into the plumbing lines feeding my house. A few days ago (4 months later), my on-demand hot water heater, kitchen sink, and shower started having issues. I didn't know what was wrong, but suspected the problems might be related to the new well pump. I tried to fix things myself by cleaning aerators, replacing cartridges in the faucets, but my efforts didn't resolve the issues, then my shower completely failed on me - no water! I feared the cost of calling a plumber, but a friend referred me to Eagle Plumbing. I called them last night and Darin asked a few questions on the phone. They were here first thing this morning. They did some trouble-shooting and determined my lines had a little sand in them caused by when my new pump was replaced 4 months ago. They back-flushed my lines. They cleaned out my my on-demand water heater and the lines all the way from my kitchen to my shower and bathroom faucet. All had a bit of black sand until they were flushed clean. Once the sand was flushed out, everything started working normal again. While Darin and Aaron were here, I also had them replace a leaky shower head, a leaky toilet float, and we walked out to my pump house and did a flush-check on the new little pressure tank. They counseled with me where in the pump house I might want to install a sand filter in the near future. All of this took only 2 hrs. With the labor of two plumbers at $159/hr. plus a few parts, the total cost of my repairs was $393. Darin and Aaron Chase are quick, honest, very good plumbers, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Eagle Plumbing and will call for them again when I have problems in the future!"

"Gentlemen was hesitant at first. Didn't have a good clean out pipe. Did find a spot and put the snake through twice. He was so patient with the plumbing. All is clean running at this time. He said we should get a new perment entry. I need quote."

"Faucet Brothers has been doing work for me for probably the last six or seven years. It started with a remodel of a bathroom. Which they had to move a drain crawl under the house to replumb and put all new plumbing in the walls. Since then he has repaired and replaced our water heater, which was an emergency and he was here to help out in no time. We have remodeled another bathroom he has helped change out the shower and do all the plumbing. He has also put a sump pump in for us and replumbed our kitchen faucet drain. I cannot say enough about How pleased we are with these guys. They’re truly awesome, they’re here when they say they’re going to be here. I would give them ten stars."

"Our water heater died late on a Friday afternoon. After calling a number of plumbers, all of whom couldn't (or wouldn't) come until Monday or later, we connected with Jack from Covenant Plumbing tthough Home Advisor. He had the new water heater in by noon Saturday. Fast, efficient, friendly, professional, reasonably priced. Any of our future plumbing needs will go to him."

"I had my sewer line replaced and Paul was great every step of the way. He was professional and communicated everything very clearly. He was able to get the line replaced within a week of our initial consultation, the price he gave was quite fair, and he got the job done in half a day. He is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of doing business with and I can’t recommend him enough!"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Yes, hydro jetting can potentially damage pipes, particularly if they are old or weakened. The high-pressure water can be too abrasive for fragile pipes, potentially causing cracks or breaks. For this reason, it is highly recommended to have a professional evaluate the condition of your pipes before the procedure. However, for newer pipes made from materials like PVC, which is common for sewer lines, hydro jetting is generally considered safe.

Plumbing standards dictate that the cold water line is located on the right side of the sink. The hot water line should be located on the left side. If your piping was installed incorrectly, a plumber may be able to correct the issue for you to avoid future confusion when having plumbing work done.

A well-installed wall-mounted faucet shouldn’t splash. That’s why it’s worth hiring someone with experience installing wall-mounted faucets. Beyond the installation, you should carefully choose the right faucet and sink combination. If your sink splashes after installation, you can try installing an aerator, which lowers the amount of water coming out of the faucet.

If you notice water coming out of the bottom of your tank or the flush handle, you obviously have a leaking tank. Water on the side of the tank can indicate cracks. Other signs include the toilet running and flushing without anyone touching the handle, needing to jiggle the handle to make the water stop after flushing, or needing to hold the handle down to empty the water tank.

Showers frequently experience leaks, most commonly originating from either the faucet or a malfunctioning shower drain. Detecting a leaky faucet is straightforward—listen for the constant sound of dripping water, even after you believe you've fully closed the faucet. In the case of a shower drain issue, it is often characterized by water seeping from the base, usually caused by a deteriorated seal between the shower wall and the shower tray.
