"I highly recommend this company! They were so kind and helpful! They made me feel extremely comfortable and educated me to prevent future problems with my toilet and plumbing. The price was very very reasonable for the work they did and I will only call them from here on out!"

"First off I would like to say that Art of Plumbing called me, and while I was talking to them, the other HomeAdvisor recommended plumber called me. So they got the job by a whisker. Having said that, I'd like you to know dear reader, that Art of Plumbing called before arrival, showed up on time, and cleared my plumbing clog in under an hour. The only reason I rated only 3.5 stars for value was that he ran out of supplies on his truck and had to run to the supply house for more chemical. I was charged for that time at his full rate, so I think the overall price paid was a little excessive. (Full plumber rate for travel time?)"

"I had a leaking faucet that I managed to damage further late in the afternoon on a Friday. I searched for a plumber on Angi and Buildtech contacted me within a few minutes. Brady came out that night and addressed my issue and also set me up with another company to attack the larger problem. Very impressed with Brady and Buildtech. I will use them again."

"Had a unique and difficult plumbing renovation of new master bathroom. It was a pleasure to work with this company. They appeared to go the extra mile to insure complete customer satisfaction. We would be happy to run into more workmen like them and would like to thank them for the help they gave us. In fact,"

"Faucet Brothers has been doing work for me for probably the last six or seven years. It started with a remodel of a bathroom. Which they had to move a drain crawl under the house to replumb and put all new plumbing in the walls. Since then he has repaired and replaced our water heater, which was an emergency and he was here to help out in no time. We have remodeled another bathroom he has helped change out the shower and do all the plumbing. He has also put a sump pump in for us and replumbed our kitchen faucet drain. I cannot say enough about How pleased we are with these guys. They’re truly awesome, they’re here when they say they’re going to be here. I would give them ten stars."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Whether or not a power-flush toilet is worth it depends on your toilet needs and your budget. If your bathroom sees a lot of use or you’re concerned about the toilet clogging, then a power-flush toilet may be the right choice. You should also check the pressure requirements to make sure your system can handle the necessary requirements.

Yes, continuing to flush a clogged toilet is not likely to break up the clog. Instead, it will continue to put pressure on the clog while filling the bowl with more water, which can potentially cause the toilet to overflow—leading to an even bigger mess. Rather than repeatedly flushing, use a toilet plunger or plumber’s snake to dislodge the clog.

The best way to stop your toilet bowl from sweating is to increase ventilation and get rid of the humidity in your bathroom. You can do this in a number of ways. Sometimes, cracking a window or running your exhaust fan is enough. You can also run an air conditioner or install a dehumidifier

To keep your toilet in good working order, replace the toilet fill valve every five years. Toilets get quite a workout, so while toilet maintenance may not be on top of your to-do list, it’s essential to keep up with it to ensure your toilet is in good working order and ready when needed.

Replacing a standard toilet with an elongated one is straightforward. The two types can be installed using the same existing drainpipe and plumbing. If you have a small bathroom, make sure that an elongated toilet doesn’t violate local building codes for clearance, which is the space between fixtures and walls.
