The pricing was fair and clearly explained and the finished work was absolutely worth every dollar. It's not always easy to find contractors that follow through like this. "They gave us an estimate for a retaining wall with stairs on one end, and then scheduled a second person to come by and look things over and schedule the work. Be sure to get any change orders in writing. We were afraid not to book the work, since they said that it could be months if we did not get on the schedule. After the work was done, we were told that it would be over 20% more because of the number of stairs that were needed. If there is any difference in what was covered on the first estimate to what was discussed with the second person, do not go forward unless they give you an estimate for the difference before the work is started."
