I paid $5000 deposit with an estimated time of completion. As of right now, we are way past due the ETA and Jason is not responding to me in anyway. I made a trip to his shop and it has shut down or he has relocated. Again, he is not responding to me. Complete scam, stay away.

Jason has incredible communication and goes above and beyond the call of duty. His workmanship, his quality of work and commitment to the task at hand is next level. I will be calling J & K for all my needs in the future.

First off, Jason and Geyome were quick to give a bid, were honest, and well below other quotes we had for our project. For context, we live in a hilly area, with terraced structure uphill on our yard. We were looking to expand a DIY waterfall area, directly underneath a stubborn concrete padding, in addition to digging a 4 foor deep hole underneath the pad on our hill, for a pond. The concrete was assumed to be 3 inches at the time of the bid, and the cut angles we required were going to be difficult. The concrete pad was 9Ã 9'... We also have very limited access to the site, making logistics for whoever was to complete the job exponentially more tedious. In short, it was one of those jobs that don't offer a contractor a huge return, but requires some time and effort. The type that often become a bit more penalized for these factors alone... Jason was undeterred... Jason and Geyome came out within a week, around our schedules, and offered a more than reasonable bid - and began the work 3 days later, fitting our project between others. The job was more complicated than anticipated initially, as the concrete was more like 5 inches in depth - and surprisingly well cured. Jason and his crew were able to handle it on a technical level without much trouble, and despite the circumstances (more work and time), they did not revise their bid. It's rare that, despite the extra labor and time, they honored their original bid! Even after I offered a premium, they insisted they stick to their word, which was refreshing (labor isn't cheap!). Huge vote of integrity! The job beyond that was effort-heavy, but routine. They dug the hole to the dimensions we required, and did a fantastic job of cleaning-up after the fact. They even offered to come back out if anything else regarding the project was needed (further forming/shaping of pond hole, clean-up, etc). The communication was prompt, courteous and accommodating, and they were very efficient, as they had to be mindful with their time on our shared flag-lot driveway (unavoidable periods blocking egress for neighbors, us, was kept to a minimium). Jason also offers tips and advice for those of us who prefer to do large portions of projects ourselves. In short, these guys are honest, knowledgeable, easy to work with, highly communicative, affordable, and kind. If you have a big project, these truly are the guys to hire. You won't regret it!

Jason and Guillaume did an excellent job in repairing /repointing my 1972-era Chimney's stone veneer! They responded promptly with an accurate quote for a logical approach for the repair work - and most impressive to me - the work that I was promised was delivered with care, professionalism and on time! I really appreciated the "down-to-earth" no-nonsense approach taken by Jason in his assessing what the job required and by Guillaume's craftsmanship in carefully executing the repair - the result being better than I expected/agreed to! I highly recommend J & K and crew!

They did the work cleaned up after themselves and paid attention to detail.

Jason was very professional. The thing that is most important to me is keeping your commitment to work and time schedule. Great communication and did the job to my complete satisfaction without any complaints. Great attitude. I would hire again.

Schedules for 12/23, but the roads were frozen over so J&K cedar, showed up on Christmas Eve and knocked out the demo, and hauled the debris away in an afternoon! I give them 12 stars out of 10!

Jason responded quickly to come to our home and discuss building a retaining wall on a sloped dirt area which also required removal of 2 trees. He offered great suggestions while he was there and provided a competitive verbal estimate on the spot. He then supported his verbal estimate with a written quote within a few hours. Jason arrived with his crew the following week to begin the project. The weather caused many delays over the next several weeks but they made progress whenever they could. Jason was very good at keeping me informed with text messages. The completed project is perfect for what I told Jason I needed. He and his crew did an excellent job and I won’t hesitate to recommend J&K for any type of similar construction projects.

I wish I had read the Google reviews before I hired them! Complete nightmare!. Neither he or his employees knew how to to do job. He said it would take two days but after two weeks it still wasn't done. They never finished but left trash & debris all over our property. What they did do is not to code and looks terrible. We have to spend twice the money to hire someone to tear it apart and do it correctly.

Great company they reacted really fast. Job well done, reasonable pricing. I will definitely hire again.

I do not have anything negative to say. It was a good experience.

His work is superior. You do not find this kind of craftsmanship anymore. His work with wood is artistic.

Any work I've seen him do he's great!
