Nothing too major (reattach shower heads removed by first person, holes left unfilled in tile from door replacement)... would recommend taking care of at the time, I wasn't there."

"We had a badly installed shower floor replaced by the tile guys in October 2018. It was beautiful and appeared well done when complete. They were fast and appeared diligent and skillful during the repair work. 5 years later, we saw the pebble tile floor starting to fail. It began sinking in multiple locations and chipping grout, allowing water to weep between and under the pebble tile causing its substrate to dissolve, causing the tile above it to sink in the dissolved cavity. After hiring another team to demo the shower floor for the second time, we're seeing that substandard practices and materials were contributing to the tile floor failure. Our current repair team still doesn't understand why there was foam installed under the pebble tile waterproofing "fabric layer". Also, the mortar used to attempt to fuse the tile to the fabric never did adhere and the new team was able to easily and cleanly pull the pebble tile and mortar off of the fabric with their fingers."

"After purchasing our home in 2016, built in 1966 but remodeled in 2012-14, we thought there would be no major projects. Everything looked fantastic on the outside, but lurking behind the walls were ticking time-bombs from "sub-optimal" materials and poor craftsmanship by the prior homeowner’s contractor. To tear out thousands of dollars of nearly-new tile and fixtures made our stomachs turn but once the true extent of the damage was revealed, we were very thankful that we were in such good hands with Dorson. The subcontractors Dorson provided for electrical, plumbing, tile, glass, and paint – all of them were very professional and we never guessed where we were in the project thanks to Dorson’s frequent updates and weekly schedule plans. On our own dime (in addition to the insurance), we upgraded ventilation, floor tile quality, added radiant floor heat, and changed the location of the valve to one that made more sense. Dorson was mindful of our budget and provided options at varying price points. Not only was our master bathroom repaired, it was elevated to a new level of quality, thanks to Dorson and Jackson Construction’s excellent work. He also pulled permits for any and all areas that were necessary. Dorson’s attention to detail was recognized and commended by our insurance adjuster as well. A situation that could have been very painful to work through went extremely smooth and I believe all parties were pleased. We would highly recommend Dorson Jackson of Jackson Construction, without hesitation."
