"they did a fantastic job and were fun and personable in the beginning - I’m the end he became harder to schedule forgetful and a bit unorganized - we weren’t getting the weed and feed and when he was called on it and other service items he became a bit of a finger Pointer at me the customer lied and became passive aggressive the relationship went south so we ended our contract."

"This was a one time service to clear a lot overgrown with weeds. If I need further service, I would call them again. They did a good job and hauled off yard debris previously bagged as well as what they cleared."

"Their performance was excellent. They met and exceeded what I expected from the contract. They worked continuously until the sodding of my front lawn was done, removing the sod the afternoon before and preparing the soil and laying the sod the next morning. They cleaned up the areas beautifully, removing excess dirt and power washing the street and sidewalk areas. Herminio , the owner, ran the job personally. He made the estimate and came out a couple times to kill the existing lawn before the actual removal began. He then supervised and partook of the actual labor. A very hard working, hands on fellow! You might find a less expensive outfit, but I doubt you can find a better one! Green Growth offers true value."

"Except for one area that was covered with red rock and lots of weeds, the work was excellent. The weeds that were difficult to get to due to the were weed whacked and then heavily sprayed, hopefully most will die off. I had hoped that they could have been pulled, but understand that the job was particularly impossible due to the red rock, so I would say they did their best to eradicate the problem. I would recommend Synergy for their work ethic."

"They were able to come to the house to work within about 30 minutes of first contacting me! My parents house has a forest of weeds surrounding it and some extremely overgrown bushes. They did a fantastic job removing everything and spraying the tiny guys that were too small to pull out fully. Would definitely hire again."

"I had a time sensitive project that needed to be completed. Carlos and his team made it happen for me! He listened to my needs, gave excellent advise and delivered as promised. He was able to help me with my home in Rockaway Beach OR where most companies would not service. I highly recommend this company."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

It’s not legal to intentionally damage a neighbor’s tree. Even if the roots of a tree encroach into your yard, if you damage or kill a tree that belongs to your neighbor, you can be held liable for the damage in most cases. Since herbicides can spread through the tree, causing damage to the whole tree and not just the roots that are on your side of the property line, you shouldn’t poison your neighbor’s tree. The other downside to this method is that if the tree dies, it can fall onto your property and cause more damage, so herbicides are best avoided in this circumstance.

The best time to fight crabgrass with pre-emergent herbicide is when forsythias tend to bloom. In the mid-Atlantic region, this is usually between April and May. Even if you're late to apply the herbicide, it’s effective as long as the crabgrass plant has fewer than five leaves.

There are several ways to kill poison ivy permanently. The trick is to keep it from coming back. Herbicides and natural remedies are highly effective for killing existing poison ivy plants. However, plant and root parts left behind can easily create new sprouts that turn into full-grown plants. The only way to permanently get rid of poison ivy is to be patient and diligent until all traces of the plant are dead and gone.

Dandelions, while hard to control and widespread across the country, are not typically categorized as noxious. Yellow starthistle, however, looks very similar to a dandelion and is highly damaging to local plants and invasive across the country.

Mowing is one of the most important ways to maintain your lawn because it encourages grass to grow horizontally, creating a fuller, more uniform yard. On top of mowing your lawn, you’ll want to routinely fertilize your lawn, water it regularly, and take care of pests the moment they arise.
