There were many “work-arounds” needed as the house is not perfectly plumb but he and his team came up with solutions on the fly as he understands “old house problems”. He’s also concerned and knowledgeable about historic preservation and won’t talk you into the “modern easy” way versus the historically accurate “right” way. He’s willing to help with “make do and mend” projects versus adamantly recommending a total rehab at a time when that’s not financially feasible, like some contractors do. He’ll say yes to the small jobs where others won’t! I often recommend him to my clients for those small pre-listing “must-do’s” which don’t require permitting but a GC won’t touch. Highly recommend. "

I had the exterior of my house painted along with my living room, bedroom, and master bathroom. We even had him stain our fence in the backyard (which we didn't want to do ourselves) and he was so great about adding that service last minute. I didn't even know he was here!
