  The 2-man crew arrived on time on the appointed day; they mostly worked partial days, and the majority of their work was done well.  RJ (sales rep) told me during our initial meeting that if any issues (mold, bee hives, etc.) are found under the siding that installation crews have been given authority to fix any found issues so as not to delay the installation process, and I can attest to this because one day when I walked outside to offer bottles of cold water to the crew, I found a large gable on my home completely open!  Kevin (lead installer) explained that the home builder took a short cut and did not install plywood over the gable--he only stapled black waterproofing paper before siding the gable.  The crew used what plywood they had on hand and then purchased more to completely and properly cover the gaping hole.  And at no cost to me!  Kudos to Alside and DaBella for staying true to their word!

  A few small issues were found at the end of the installation: The exterior motion sensor lights (3 locations) initially did not work, the siding around the faucet near the front porch did not look professionally done, the siding originally under the front door stoop was removed with nothing put in its place, and the existing downspouts leaked when put back in place.  The crew installed a hardy piece of pressure treated wood under the door stoop as they said the space was too small to install the new siding and had already thrown away the old siding pieces.  The new wood adds support and looks great.  The exterior lights were actually working and for some reason did not come on at dusk or when motion was detected, and then all of a sudden they began working normally.  Weird, but issue resolved.  Alside sent Kevin back asap to re-do the siding at the faucet, but it was a Gerry-rigged fix.  This was not acceptable.  Several emails with faucet photos later...and months of waiting... Alside was able to send another crew to fix that problem area.  This crew did a professional job and it looks AMAZING!  The wait was long but so well worth it in the end because the crew knew exactly how to address and fix the siding at the faucet.  And because it took a while for the re-do to be done, Alside provided 2 new gutter downspouts for FREE to replace the existing ones.  The new gutters look great and do not leak.

  RJ said the crew could and would remove the cement chunks that once were my back patio, and this was written into the contract.  The installation crew from Alside decided it was not in their scope of work and refused to place them in the dumpster.  Alside kept the dumpster at my home a few days longer to give DaBella opportunity to send someone to do what was promised.  My thanks to DaBella and Matt and his work partner for keeping their word and abiding by the contractually obligated work to be done.  Not once did DaBella try to wiggle out of honoring their agreement.  Very impressive!

  The new siding was installed during some warm/hot days.  The late afternoon sun beats down on that side of the house and there has always been a noticeable temperature difference in those rooms and the hallway.  I immediately after the install, I noticed that the rooms and hallway on that side no longer have a temperature difference from the rest of the house!  The new siding is doing what I was told it would!

  THANK YOU DABELLA EXTERIORS and ALSIDE.  I LOVE THE NEW SIDING!  It's a wonderful product and I'm glad I made the purchase.  My neighbors have commented how great it looks too.  I highly recommend DaBella and Alside.

"The toilet needed to be replaced. I was told that I would only get the builder standard grade toilet even though I was signed up with the highest plan. The plumber was replaced my toilet with something that was definitely builder grade and not even close to what I had. I called CHOICE and they told me that it should have been replaced with something comparable to what I had. Twice they told me they were going to have my claim looked at and I have not received a call about it or any new information. The new toilet is wrong in size and specs and doesn't fit well where it is in the bathroom."
