Macy has I/DD and Autism and will likely not be able to live away from us, her parents, unless she is in assisted living of some sort. However, together with her grandma we sought to create an environment for her to live as independently as possible and for her to grow into. This began our search for the perfect contractor who would understand our needs and work with us to build this ADU for Macy. Enter, Jay Bemis with Timeless Builders. "Everything went very well. There was a slight hiccup with measurements or something, causing an adjustment in timeframe and material. It took a couple weeks longer than originally planned, waiting to see if the original hardwood flooring was still available, which it wasn't. It wasn't a huge deal, and I wasn't particular about what was used; just wanted a floor. Thankfully my husband was home when they came to do the job the first time and told them no, don't put anything down until you know there's enough to finish the job. Otherwise, they would have had to tear up what they put down and start over. Overall, I'm pleased with J&B and would hire them again."
