Customers say: True professional

"C & C Roofing guaranteed us no leaks and even promised to come back out if the leak continued anytime within the next few months after their repairs. We are pretty much through the rough weather season and that was not necessary as everything seems to have been taken care of properly on the first visit."

"They were very professional. They did the job correctly. It was two young men. They stayed on the job. It took them most of the day. They cleaned up their mess when they were done, it was like they were never even there. They did a good job. I thought the pricing was fair. They were right on time. I would recommend them to anybody."

Yes, egress windows are grandfathered. However, this comes with some specifications. If you are remodeling a basement or adding a sleeping area, you’ll need to update the egress windows to be up to proper code. But, if you’re leaving your home as is, you do not have to adhere to these requirements.

Egress windows require regular maintenance to ensure they function correctly. This includes cleaning the glass, inspecting the frame and well for debris, and making sure the cover or well drains properly. It is also important to check that the window sills and wells are watertight and to inspect and repair any damage to the window frame or seals to prevent leaks and maintain functionality.
