Tom did a fabulous job with the whole house plug installation for my back up generator. He was quick and efficient and cleaned up well after the work. He explained how to use the plug and manual interlock and made sure everything worked before leaving. Quality job on all fronts. Pricing was fair and he was able to fit me in on short notice due to another job rescheduling. I will definitely contact him again should the need arise.

We hired Brown Brothers Electric and Remodel to replace an old Federal Pacific circuit breaker box with a new one as well as replacing GFCI receptacles in the kitchen and bathroom. In addition Tom Brown removed a 220V line that powered a hot tub years ago. Tom methodically removed the old electrical items and replaced the electric panel and receptacles in a professional way. His work was exemplary for a price that was both fair and reasonable. I will hire this company again in the near future as we remodel our home.

I am new to this whole Home Advisor thing and after I was applaud by other companies I went for it. Tom Brown from Brown Bothers set up an estimate with great timing and was early to the meeting. He was very thorough and even commented on issues he saw that were dangerous. 2 bids were sent (one for just house grounding and one for whole electrical panel replacement and grounding). We went with both and he was early again to the install. A payment plan was created as I am disabled and limited budget. I am in my 50's so I want to know all I can about what is up with my house. Tom was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He was open to me to ask questions and learn as well. Plus while he worked we were able to just chew the fat without hesitation of the work. Tom is the soul example of a perfectionist. The old circuit breaker was a horrific mess!! By the time it was all done it looked like the house was built THAT DAY with everything so neat and tidy I could see the excellence in his work. And his personality showed not only professionalism but also down to earth with a good heart (not seen very much nowadays). Now onto the real heart of what a great professional and man Tom is! My wife and I had an emergency come up and we were hit financially. I addressed this to Tom and he and I set up a time to make the next payment when I could. He could have said no and demanded the next payment as per scheduled but he showed compassion and understanding, bringing this old bear of a guy to his knees with tears of happiness to be treated with care and respect. Would I refer Tom and his company to anyone in need? The answer is a resounding YES!! You want a job well done and have a great guy to chat with then call Brown Bothers. They will treat you right!!

Tom installed a new panel upgrade and a transfer switch for our generator. Big Job. He did not cut any corners! The wiring is buttoned up and organized. The labeling is clear. Tom left us prepared for future installations and made sure we knew what to expect if/when we need the transfer switch. Very friendly and informative. Competitive pricing. Proactive communication.

He discussed my options of relocating it and worked out solutions that were in my best interest. I will hire him again!

They're aren't enough stars to symbolize how good Brown Brothers work really is. Tom was professional, responsive, and very attentive to detail from the first time we talked. His bid came in well under everyone else's, allowing us to get multiple projects done at once. Tom replaced and upgraded our old electrical panel, redid some old wiring, and installed some new outlets and switches in the home we just purchased in Scappoose. He also did it in less time than quoted. When completed, my panel looks like a piece of art....I wish i could post before/after pics. I can't wait to work with Tom when we install the hot tub!
