"Everyone we worked with at Prudhom Heat & Air was courteous and professional. This family-owned business offered a good product at a fair price that met our needs perfectly. Both warranty types cover parts failing due to manufacturer defects, incurring no additional costs. Some manufacturers provide extended warranties surpassing the usual 15- to 20-year window, though these often involve extra fees. 

A home AC unit provides anywhere from one-half to five tons of cooling and requires approximately two to four pounds of refrigerant per ton of cooling.
