However, if you need to cool multiple zones in your house, your mini-split can use as much as 2,000 watts per hour.   • Set up a ladder for attic access if necessary

  • Pull your window AC out of the window and place in an easily accessible spot

  • Supplement with fans and open windows to help keep your house comfortable
